An irate mob has killed a young man identified simply as Yunusa over allegations of blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

The incident happened on Wednesday in Nasaru village, Ningi local government area of Bauchi State.

It was reported that the blasphemous remarks were made during a heated argument with his friends.

The argument attracted the attention of bystanders.

“The victim was a member of the Faira Islamic Sect, he was heard to have spoken words of insult to the Prophet.

“Some young men challenged Yunusa to withdraw his statement, but he insisted he would not. He even repeated it. That was when they started beating him,” the witness stated.

It was reported that police personnel were overwhelmed in an attempt to rescue Yunusa.

The irate mob deployed stones, sticks, and other objects to fatally assault him.

Further reports suggest that the mob tried to set fire to the police station in the village when officers attempted to protect him there.

The police have yet to react to the development as of the time of this report.

Religion is evil.

Many of us care so little about God but so much about religion in both Christianity and Islam. Then, we deceive ourselves with the blasphemous thinking that 'Religion = God'.

Let's go back and address The Tap Root Of Nigeria's Problems. Otherwise, we can keep complaining forever because we are our own problems.

Jesus Christ didn't teach you to insult people, even to use dirty words like 'shutt the fckk up', in his defence. You shouldn't be the one defending your God. Your God should be the one defending you.

Biodun556, your list as I mentioned does not include the Bible verses that Muslims use to persecute and put to death those who they accuse of blaspheming their Allah and Mohammed as well. You pretend it is only the Europeans and Christians who use Bible verses to persecute and destroy others, ignoring the fact that Mohammedians are equally notorious for doing pretty much the name. 🤔
