Southgate is just scared to let this England team play. Playing players out of positions just to keep defensive shape

He only take 1 left back who's not fit to the tournament

Denmark Teaching England how to play.... Irony of life
Southgate wasted Conor and Rice. Defense doesn't need protection from this Danish team. The one good thing is how that stupid decision exposed a lot about Bellingham's game. Guy thinks he's in Bernabeu where every tackle is a foul on him. Smh.

Watkins
Palmer
Gordon

Must all be on the pitch at same time if England wants some really sweet football. Besides, Saka is full on defensive mode. 2 matches now and he's done defensive clearances from most corners conceded.

He’d possibly start third group game for England and that’s probably it

And you think he will pick the brouhaha happening in Nigeria instead

You sat down with Arsenal football ⚽ analysts, Arteta and Edu and had a detailed discussion.

You are really well connected to Arsenal.

On several occasions, this Majoribanks of a man has given this insider kind of news and they turned out as he said even though he has never claimed to know it all. But, here you are always filling this space with empty words claiming to be the PA to the FIFA president, yet none of your words has ever amounted to anything, but you have the temerity to try to riddicle him for his take on Osimhen's rumored move to Arsenal? What about the midfield maestro the solution player to all of the SE problems 😔 has he gone to Sporting Lisbon or Porto .

You don't want to tell us that his fellow maestro, the one that is more talented and deserves more recognition than Lookman has been released by relegated Luton?

Few pages ago after he made a cameo appearance, you were here bragging that he now plays in the premier league with Luton yet they just booted him out after going down? grin grin

OM has made an offer to Wilfred Ndidi, free next June!
▪️ Lyon and Everton also made an offer to the Nigerian midfielder.
▪️ Monaco and Seville are also on the lookout.
▪️ Leicester wants to extend it.

Doesn't matter, he's still very young.

He can still be a core member of the team in the nearest future.

Individuality and performance mixed in this Spain approach. I love it. Only bad figure is the Morata that's doing like ghost. Swap Morata for a sesko or Osimhen and this team go enter final at least.

"We will play with the style that brings us a victory," he said. "I am not a guardian of any philosophy. You need to adapt and change against any team." — Rodri

"Maybe in other times, having more of the ball guaranteed better results," he said. "Now, we are a team that can surprise opponents like we did today. We are satisfied; I think we did well. We used the ball with a lot of sense and were clinical in the final third. It shows that you don't have to have so much of the ball if you're a team like us, with pace." — De La Fuente

Thoughts cc: Thegoodjoe

I actually do not buy Rodri's statement here because he actually joined Man City to learn Pep Guardiola's tactics.

What I think happened is the coach getting a barrage of criticism for his tactical approach and them trying to be smart about.

Honestly, not impressed with De La Fuente's tactical approach. They move the ball well and transition well too. However, there is so much room in reorganizing the way they move the ball.

Either way, Fuente's is a sound Tactician but needs to improve fast.

Spain is still play a high possession game and that is the key point.

I can't wait for the third match of Spain. I would like to see Mikel Merino play a full game. I am itching for someone to keep the ball deep and control the game.

But Ruiz has been a top class act.

You’re the most delusional person on this forum

Spain has a winning formula press high and fast and fast break counters to the wingers which has worked since last nations cup

Now you want them to play deep 2018 style and loose man you’re full of $&$& to fuel your own agenda

With you at the helm you’ll be worse than all current nff office holders combine because you’ll choose the benefit of a few over the needs of the many

Focus on the points.

I am not condemning Spain but pointing out things that needs improvement.

Today, Spain lost the ball repeatedly in deadly areas. Missed utilizing spaces in some counters and lost the ball in areas they would have caused havoc.

I am talking of how they can sort this out. Not everything is about attack.
