Nigeria can produce stable electricity but corrupt leaders everywhere in govt do not want the betterment of a country Nigeria...starting from top to bottom. To you, Nigeria is your country. To them, Nigeria is a market square where the big hustle to steal is always open. And you are not allowed to visit this market until you reach the highest calibre of a theif with political relevance. It's quite intriguing to consider a thief who is shielded by the law and supported by armed forces. What do you call it? A legal thief! If one were to consider the future prospects of Nigeria, it is important to acknowledge the current state of affairs. Unfortunately, the individuals in positions of power have sown seeds that will likely perpetuate the existing problems (their godsons), making it difficult to envision significant futuristic improvement. So it's clear nothing will change unless godsons like Fubara refuse godfathers like Wike the so-called rites (the state's money). Nigeria has a long way to go in terms of improvement. Every election year, you'll be persuaded to vote for yet another disaster, and guess what? Yes, you will. Only a mad man keeps trying one route always expecting to reach Botswana. You continue to repeat the same action and hope for a different outcome. You have not only caused harm to yourself, but also to the future prospects of your children. I like the truth parboiled so it hits you differently. Checkmate: the three major contenders in the last election are three popular failures and you pretend like you have no choice if you select a different person and as if you are left with only those three. Was a gun pointed to your head! There were very many presidential aspirants and even many for your state governance too! I could even remember Sowore for one. At least, he has no bad records yet and has shown the zeal. He's also young and has a different mindset. Don't get me wrong, he may not be the saint, but at least, he's different from the old men system of govt ruining Nigeria. But whenever he spoke, I see many comments about how he "can never win." And if you asked them the reasons why, they divert to unreasonable debate. I thought we all agreed to electing a young leader? But you betrayed us and chose tribesmen! One side keeps shouting: "It will favour me and my family." Hope your family are enjoying the flavours of the favours? This side are the major problems of the country. The same man who ruined Lagos. If this man wasn't in the picture, Dubai would be coming on excursions to Lagos! This same person promising you a standard healthcare facility goes abroad always to recharge himself in France. Imagine converting Naira to Francs always! Another side kept shouting: "Obidients Obidients!" And you seriously forgot that the same man you support, have ruled before and development -wise, where he ruled remained dilapidated! If he had vision, he would have led by example using precedent...not jetting to Egypt to learn rubbish and score political points. Another group kept shouting: "Atikulate." One, this group don't even have any point to make. Their patron was a vice and the best investment he did was steal (according to his boss, OBJ). He doesn't even stay in Nigeria that much. How can he not stay in the country he was a vice president to? Shows he doesn't like the ruin to affect him. They are three old men. That two are older than the last one doesn't make him a young man. So don't use that as an excuse to vote in your tribesmen either. But your fish brain said there were only three and you know they were failures but gaslighted yourself as having no choice but choose from either of them. You contributed to how the country is. And you suffer for it too. The irony is that the major lobbyists of this calamitous govt are not even permanent residents of the country. They are abroad shouting emi lo kan must rule. And look at you Abosede who is doing POS in Nigeria tagging along the shout. In the end, who does it affect most? Those abroad or you always in the scroching sun in Nigeria? Lol. Igando Avenger bawo ni? As you voted for a calamity, make sure you take responsibility too. Nigeria is a pyramid scheme. 98 Likes 10 Shares

This is a private enterprise that just confirms that achieving optimal electricity generation is feasible but the innate lack of political will by the Nigerian government under the APC and institutional corruption are the bane. 70 Likes 6 Shares |

you nigerians still don't get it that electricity is expensive.... Dangote achieved it because he has enough money to go his own way.... many middle men depend on the nigerian power sector.... getting rid of the middle men will be the biggest challenge.... you nigerians remember the generator middle men....?? 12 Likes 3 Shares |

Producing energy for Nigeria’s need is not rocket science Clearly some people don’t want it to work So much sunshine for solar, water for dams and hydrocarbons for fueling power stations and yet we can’t meet local needs. To confirm it is intentional, we supply Ghana with gas for their power and electricity directly to Togo and Niger 16 Likes 2 Shares |

Providing Power is not rocket science.... Sustaining Power is the challenge ... Nigeria overinflate contract, and no competitive bidding like that ...no RFQ ...so how do you recover funds to sustain and expand. 1 Like |

Racoon: What about OBJ $10bn power project? Anything to show? This is not a party matter. Come to it, under which party we're the original genco and electricity distribution licences issued? While lies can influence the ignorance and bring likes and shares, the cosmos rejects it decisively irrespective of party. God is not a party man.
