The army needs to have the air wing for transportation and evacuation of wounded soldiers.

Great news. They should have done this years ago but never late than never. For those who don’t understand the ramifications. The Army often has to rely on the Navy for troop transport and sometimes the delays can have tremendous impact especially on the battle field. With this the Army has control and better abilities to drop in reinforcements or supplies to troops on ground.

looolx! Don't mind them jare there wahala is too much,they don't read news nor do little investigation b4 cruxifying anybody. Since time immemorial army and airforce from diff countries do fight alot because of this air machines,that is why advance countries like us,france,england do have seperate air machines for them. Army might need help for medicals,air lifting injured soldiers,offensive air attack etc urgently and airforce might say no they ain't going to that location because they are the owners of most air machines in the armed forces,so not to cause more argument or disaggrement the army needs to have some too for an urgent needs. This ones bought for the army are more like transporter,ambulance,fighter etc it is an utility copter.

This is all normal, armies worldwide need new equipment and that is fine.
What is not fine and will never be is that the cost of an item is, let's say, 150 million USD, and they will present the bill of 1 billion to the senate and pocket the balance. They may even not buy anything a tall but the money will be eaten by the snake.
