Oh I see. Well west coast can be very varied. Like in Oregon/Washington state it’s like zone 4 (cool weather crops) but up in California it’s zone 9 (warm weather crops)

I’ve not grown ugu here but since it is a pumpkin, I would plant it in the spring/summer so I can harvest in the fall like other pumpkins.

The garden eggs I would also plant during the warm months because egg plants love warm (not hot) weather. So spring planting as well and harvest in the summer.

The scent leafs are perennial. if you’re in California I think you’re golden. It will do well anytime the ground is not freezing.

I didn’t garden at all when I lived in Washington so I don’t know how that part of the west coast does with certain plants but I’m sure the scent leaf will do well in warm weather.

Lucky you. I would love a scent leaf bush

When I landscaped my backyard, the guy that did it filled the beds with soil. I don’t think he used a specific store bought soil. But sometimes after harvest, I usually top off with the generic one from Costco (miracle gro).

Then every time I seed or transplant seedlings, I use organic starter fertilizer (EB Stone Organics brand). I also add kitchen scraps as I go.

Africa violet is pretty but I haven’t grown it before.

Be very hydrated! Drink plenty of water to flush germs out of your body.

I don't know if wiping well will help with yeast infections but they say wipe from front to back.

We do not know the corelation between yeast infection and carbohydrate intake.
An average naija meal is more than 90% carbohydrate so do the math. Yeast day in day out and marriages, relationships have been broken cos of this.
Our people call it std, she or he is dirty down there, bla bla bla, yadayada etc.

Not knowing their gut labours microbes cos the flaura is not balanced. Too acidic. And when the gut is in that form, all the orifices are affected. Penis, vagina, butt hole,mouth and even ear. No matter what you apply,it will come back again cos the origin is not yet sorted out.

Yeast feast on sugar. Carbs are simply sugar molecules. And we Nigerians have sweet tooth.
You don't have to use granulated sugar to agree you have sweet tooth.
Our food combo is just so sweet.
And our so called tea
Chocolate drink and white bread. What a way to start the day by the wealthy. Lunch, loads of swallow or rice, dinner,almost the same. Top up with beer or malt drink.

Why won't we have yeast infection.

No probiotics. No wonder we look 60 when we are 40 with all manner of illness.

Made kimchi last week. Saw good winter radish and yum.
It's tasty anyway but fermented. When you want probiotics, I think kimchi is number one followed by German sauerkraut.
