Good day house,

i was denied visa on 20th june 2024, base on the reasons attached. Now i have sufficient funds to reapply because my aunt is ready to add her other account as she the one sponsoring me and i am the one managing her business.

I am 30 years of age single man with no kids and never marry, please how do i proof my home tie considering my age.

You to reappraise your POF and your SOP write up, the VO has not been convinced on the reasons you have adduced for your studies in Canada

Good morning friends

I need help in helping my mother in law retrieve her passport from vac. Passport was sent through DHL but didn't process the return envelope, how then would they get the passport back from VFS.

Thanks

Email the VAC to send the tracking information for the passport. Then contact dhl with the tracking info at hand. Or visit the dhl office opposite the vac with the tracking number and insist they give it to you until they find it. They are always very very slow to update the tracking numbers into their systems.

A sufficient bank statement from the sponsor may not address the issue if you cannot demonstrate enough evidence of a connection to the sponsor. For example, you can support this claim with bank transactions highlighting the transactions in the sponsor's bank statement for not just you but your parents and siblings, if applicable. Also, submit an affidavit, photos, a letter from your parents, and other evidence of support (not just financial). Your sponsor can also show commitment by transferring part of the tuition or living expenses to your account. You can strengthen your submission by having her pay part of your tuition fee from her account.

There are many reasons why a VO might have an issue with your purpose of visit. So, order your GCMS note to determine why the VO is concerned. One such reason is that the intended program is unrelated to your current occupation, and you have not established its relevance to your future career path if you have recently graduated.

Good day Everyone, My application was denied and i don't know what i did wrong.

My Aunty’s is my sponsor, she has different business in beauty and cosmetic. when i first applied and submit my application i never knew the amount that was in her account but later she told me it was 30million which was not sufficient then i filled the web form to add my own account of 9.5million but i didn't state it in my S.O.P that i will be supporting myself. The total of 39.5 million was used as my proof of fund, with my father's properties and health serving as an home tie.

I did my biometrics May 30th, 2024 and git denied june 20th, 2024.

Note: my aunt is my uncle's wife not direct aunty

The day i was to add my own account to it 2million was sent to my from a non related person.

Please like how much is sufficient for the POF considering the current exchange rate.

when can i re-apply because i aunty is ready to put down her second account worth 50million.

The Following are the reasons for denial.

1) i am not satisfied that you will leave canada at end of your stay as required by paragraph R216.... i am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave canada.

2) Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself

3) The purpose of your visit to canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details your have provided in your application.

Hello house, Do you merge all supporting documents with the SOP into one PDF file on the additional document upload section?

Use ilove pdf to Covert all non-pdf to pdf and merge using the merge feature
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MarksmanD: 9:06pm On Jun 21
Thanks. One more question. I did GIC and I'm also using my account statement and a sponsor account statement. Do I merge all 3 and upload it on the Proof of funds part too?

Good evening all,
I need an advice.

I am a student in Canada and wants to apply to r a visiting visa for my mother to come visit us this December.

Should I use my own GCKey and apply for her or I should create a new GCKey for her?

Note: my own GCKEY was used for myself, spouse and 2 kids when I applied for my own family visa.

You are at liberty to use either one. You can choose to use your GCkey account or create a new one for her

I don’t know if Nairaland has a thread for Spouse or Common-law partner sponsorship. But you can’t go wrong with the checklist. You can apply under family class or in-Canada class. The latter allows you to apply for an open work permit while your PR is processed, while unlike the latter, the former will enable you to appeal the decision if your application is refused.
You can now submit your application online.

Happy married life!

I was refused visa on May 22. I followed what I learned on this platform to apply for my visa. I must have missed something along the line. Please, I need help as my program is starting in the last week of August, I waited for the GCMS note before reaching out. I want to reapply immediately.
I am going for a one-year postgraduate certificate program. I paid my one-year tuition in full and submitted a POF of 31.25 million Naira with the explanation that my elder brother added some money to support me. I also included a letter of support from him.
I submitted my PAL alongside other documents. For the POF, 30 million Naira was in Access bank statement of account while 1.25 million was in GTbank statement. I stated in my SOP that I would be living my children and my husband behind. I ordered for GCMS note and the explanation is as follows: bank statement of Gtco does appears inconsistent and usual with other similar bank statement , this is an aggravating factor in my assessment, I have concerns the applicants does not have sufficient finance readily available to cover their living cost during their stay in Canada...

Go to the portal. Creat and Account By Signing Up Activate the account in your Email, then Log in again to Schedule an Appointment to your preferred location. You will have to get your IRCC number to book your appointment. The IRCC number can be found in the Biometrics letter. Good Luck.

You can reapply for yourself and your spouse's open work permit (take the new policy into consideration to know the application for your spouse) while your baby, depending on the age of the infant (VV),

Hello guys,

Please I have a challenge. I have my student visa approved already to start a Post Graduate Diploma in September. However I just got another admission for Masters and I prepare the Masters program. I hear that I will have to reapply again for another visa because I want to change school since I am outside of Canada. Please I need advise of how to go about it. Does it mean I have to start the visa process afresh again when I already have a visa that has been approved.

Please need advise

POF should be 1 year tuition plus 1 year upkeep plus miscellaneous. However you must show how you will cover cost for subsequent years.
It is good your dad is sponsoring as a fresh graduate you do not need to show any money. If your dad is employed Get your dad to write a letter of sponsorship, an affidavit of support, put his employment letters and payslip and salary account, tax clearance plus any other asset/ investment, property etc.
If he is in business let him show business related documents, account statements and assets.
Also remember your birth certificate very important.
Thank you very much for your response please what about the family ties part?

I had similar issue with mine. To fix that, you can live chat with VFS global at https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/can/contact-us
And have them release your IRCC so you can try again. Don't use Chrome to try to rebook. Use safari or explorer.

Good day everyone.
Please, is there anyone here who has received his or her PAL from Newbrunswick, or who has an idea of how long it takes for the province to issue it after submitting the required documents for it?

I've been expecting it for over 2 weeks now, can't proceed with my study permit application because of that, and time is ticking fast...

Anyone?
Thank you!
