This is the Military rule some idiots want in Nigeria. No matter how BAD you think our useless Politicians are, our USELESS Military is a 100 times.worse. This new law will JAIL people for using social media to SHARE videos of the soldiers torturing people because it can "disturb public order". These people are just lucky that ECOWAS is filled with a bunch of corrupt and SPINELESS cowards. Otherwise, this Tchiani guy would have been sent on a journey pf no return. 44 Likes 8 Shares |

Paraman: Abeg Arise, please post Rufai Oseni to Niamey as your correspondent over there. I want him to see something. See the military that Obidients decided to put their support behind. See how rule of law ls being shamelessly trampled upon. Obidients should use this as a lesson to be careful what they wish for. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

aswani: The same military put in place, the surviving basic infrastructure that has kept this country from collapsing totally, from the uncountable and irrepressible corrupt antecedents of the so called civilian leaders. That the Nigerien military is misbehaving doesn't even add a flower to the Nigerian civilian regime. Journalists are also being persecuted here as well, amidst state-backed widespread corruption. Two sides of a coin. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Ha ha ha Nigerian youths - you people wanted military to take over abi. You say Nigeria is the worst place for human rights in the world. Ask Niger people how far with human rights. The military junta in Mali has banned porn. Records show that Nigerians are some of the biggest users of porn in the world. How are you going to cope if your imaginary military coupists take over and ban porn here too. They'll also ban things like yahoo or sagging your trouser. If you protest, they'll lock you up and throw the key away. And there'll be no human rights lawyer to save you. Your hero Mr Falana that lives and sleeps on Arise TV to cho cho cho over matters he knows nothing about will disappear to Republic of Benin on his way to claiming asylum in Belgium. Youths, do you still want a coup? Guess not. 10 Likes |

Namaster: Is there really any difference with what is happening in Nigeria ? Do you know how many journalists and social media users have been locked up since Tinubu entered alone? it might even be more than what this military junta has done... The bad part in Nigeria's case is that even civilians who have money lock up people because they can influence illegality with the law which is not the same over there, only the military is most likely wielding such power. I witnessed 3 military regimes in Nigeria before democracy came, you guys just come out and be talking nonsense, I'm not supporting the military regime, but based on what I witnessed during the military regime with the way they hyped having a civilian government and benefits in human rights, I can tell you with all confidence that the difference is almost the same thing, up till date soldiers are brutalizing civilians and so on ... What exactly is the difference ? even the president here still oppresses people.... you guys just gulp everything they tell you guy because they want to keep enjoying the fake democracy they claim to offer.... |

My fellow obidients say una dey hear?? Military good is never up to any good, Buhari, IBB and Abacha as military rulers tried to islamize this country, as bad as we think emilokan is, he does not carry muhammad for head like these northerners, a return to military rule will only give these northern islamic bigots a chance to extend their sharia, even Rufai Oseni go cry tire. by the way, Islamabad is still the capital of Pakistan Mbok 3 Likes |

Namaster:the few military leaders in Nigeria have done much better than their many Democratic counter parts for instance all our refinaries were constructed by military leader to civilians couldn't even maintain them ,the biggest estate in Nigeria which is gwarinpa estate was constructed by a military leader,3rd mainland bridge was constructed by a military leader infact all our major high ways that really matters in the country were constructed by the military. I think our longest rail line was constructed by the military. One thing about military leaders is that they have interest of the country at heart and the can't be threatened by foreign powers because they're willing to die for what they believe in same can't be said with democratic leaders in Nigeria. Certain Freedom maybe contrailed but even in democratic rule can't be totally free 1 Like |

In as much as our politicians are corrupt and are not performing below expectations, calling for military take-over should not be encouraged. Though things are hard and people are really suffering due to unfavourable govt policies, however you can't quantify the freedom in democracy with that of military rule. You can protest, drag govt officials on social media for mis-governance to make them adjust but this freedom is never guaranteed under military regime. 3 Likes |

DesChyko: If they are prosecuted here, and Rufai Oseni wouldn't still be doing his cho cho cho if they were, it isn't set in stone as law like the Nigerien mandate thieves are doing. Like I said, let them prepare a table for handover and publish it sharpish. That aside there is no guarantee anywhere that millitary regimes worldwide, maybe Sankara's excluding (RIP sir), are not corrupt, even moreso than Civilian ones. Certainly in our country, they haven't proven any different. It does beg the question why Obidients like mandate thieves in other West African countries but don't like President Tinubu who they claim is a Mandate thief (he isn't of course, I am just making a point). 7 Likes 2 Shares |
