They wanted to see a letter from his host before he could check in.

The program not started yet but Here are the requirements for the new caregiver pathway to permanent residence in Canada:

1)Language Proficiency: Achieve a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 4 (IELTS,CELPIP equivalent).

2)Education: Possess a high school diploma equivalent to Canadian standards (e.g., WAEC equivalent in Nigeria). Also having a cert or training in first aid and cpr is added advantage

3)Experience: Have work experience in a caregiving role.

4) Job Offer: Secure a full-time job offer as a caregiver in Canada. This is the most challenging aspect of the requirement. However, any permanent resident or citizen in Canada with young children can employ a home caregiver, provided they meet the income requirement. Meeting the income requirement can be challenging for many families in Canada, depending on their family size.

I see you are currently in Canada on a visitor visa (VV) and trying to find a way to stay. Please be very careful of LMIA scams. LMIA should be free, but getting an LMIA job is very difficult as some are offering it for sale. If anyone offers you an LMIA for less than CAD 15,000 as of today, it is 100% fake.
Regarding switching to a student visa, you can do it yourself. Firstly, you require admission; the school will issue you a PAL, but I doubt any school will offer you admission without paying a deposit. You will then need a medical exam, which you should have done in Nigeria because it is cheaper but more expensive in Canada. Next, you will apply for a visa online, showing your proof of funds and a well-explained statement of purpose.

However, I advise anyone coming to Canada with a visitor visa intending to switch to a work or study permit to do thorough research before coming. Many people in this group had the same plan but arrived in Canada and saw how difficult it could be. They ended up resorting to fake asylum claims, which have a 50/50 chance of success. They could face deportation later, as only a small number of claims are approved.

Getting a PAL is not easy again, you have to pay at least 50% of the tuition to get it.
How many hustler can pay that? I just paid $12,000 to university of Manitoba to get PAL from daughter.

When you apply as a tourist the first question will be where and where have you gone before as a tourist ? The best approach to US / Canada visitor visa is conference

Meaning your purpose of visit will be wedding anniversary? At this period wey Canada dey dash refusal like water.....with almost a year waiting time?

Go to North or east Africa for your anniversary o, that's just my humble advice

The Church family has been put in place by God to help build each other up spiritually(communal worship) As I got closer to leadership in my church I realized the things that churches do without broadcasting it. They are too silent maybe that’s why it’s perceived that churches don’t do anything. I got to know that They sponsor people to school for free, give jobs to so many widows, pay hospital bills, rent, and feed policemen for free everyday… this is just the little I know. If you are angry about a particular church don’t attend that church find the one that God is leading you to and attend but a comment like this on a public forum can sow bad seeds in the heart of people God has directed to that particular church. No one is perfect , so also is the church because imperfect people joined it. The Bible makes it clear to tithe , give offerings, sow etc. some people discourage people from giving forgetting that the church is blessed because the people are blessed. do your own part, when you stand on judgement day , God wouldn’t ask you what you did with the tithes and offerings, he would ask you if you did as he instructed. if you didn’t you would carry your cross. If any church is being greedy they would answer to God. But my advice is do the part God has asked you to and look up to Him. May God give you the strength to do his will in Jesus name. Amen!

Also, Please this forum is for Canada visa let’s get back to that I just had to address that comment briefly. The lord would grant us ourr heart desires in Jesus name.

If ur application is June last yr, ur agent has ur decision already.
I just wonder why some agents are like dis? U will not use applicants information for registration and when decision has been taken, u will still keep it from them.

Mathematically, the processing time is now 7 years according to the agent. So, indirectly, the agent is telling the applicant that if you apply in 2023, you can expect your visa to be approved by 2030 😊. but the agent format may be right at-least Canada visa ban last 5 years so by 7th year the ban go don expire 😂😂😂

my own believe is that they hardly refuse Visa if it has stayed so long. very funny assumption =)

Since the agent can cooked up this kind of lies, I'm also suspecting a ban.
7yrs waiting time would have clean up 5yrs ban true true.

I am not surprised when people believe silly things. Faith without work mentality has made a lot of people overly religious with intellectual bankruptcy. They just want to succeed cheaply and ascribe the reason to fake grace.

Feb is still under processing. Like right now, ircc is treating Jan applications.
If ur friend can't login to his application by himself, that means d agent used his own email. The email ur friend used on d day of his biometrics is for vfs and not ircc.
