People are yet to realise the dumbness in those decisions Tinubu took arrogantly. Very soon they will hear. I am shocked. The idiet fake accountant has taken Nigeria 20 years back.

Oga we all know the problem and the solution. The problem is evil leaders and the solution is to vote them out.
The suffering is much more in the north. Southern Nigeria is having it much better

I agree with helinues on this, though he can be trollful. These statistics are overwhelming. But they're the reality on ground. And we need to do something about it, something other than complaining because the complaints aren't achieving anything. Neither are the "I told you so"statements that force people to dig in and get entrenched in their positions without achieving progress or even consensus on the way forward.
I have started planting a small garden in my backyard. To the extent you can, I encourage you to do the same. Even if it's using sacks to grow on your balcony, besides the fence in your yard, etc. Doing nothing and waiting for the government to import food stuffs only prolongs the sickness. All the yahoo youths and runs girls do need to return to their family farm, even form a cooperative and magnify each individual contributions. As for herdsmen, isn't it cowardly abdication to abandon the farms to them? Don't they bleed red like everyone else? When every farming community forms a posse to deal with them and guarantee safety year round, no slacking and no waiting for a useless government, the problem will be solved.

Have you really heard about what Herdsmen are doing to farmer in the different farms. Raping and killing people in cold blood while their destroy and eat up crops. With you type Nigeria will never make it. You dey nairaland dey defend rubbish while Seyi the son of your slave is Junketing around the globe in their newly acquired Private jet. See how your comments is all over this post it only shows one thing a very jobless man, if you busy one comment is enough and you are out.

No matter the hunger, never accept GMO food offered as grants by Bill Gates foundations.
Let's grow our organic food in the little backyard/orchards.

The best thing is do away with some food stuff that are too costly. May be just to buy them once in a while pending when the Mr Calamity in Abuja will leave

I wish it was easy to do so...but which foodstuff is not costly now, even to drink garri 3 times daily is a big deal to many people now

Thank you. He even gloated about it: he sad and I quote "I said subsidy is gone". Something that wasn't part of his prepared speech. He ought to have resumed duty first and studied what was on ground.

Some Jonathan supporters supported subsidy removal under him but are crying now that Tinubu removed it grin grin grin

Over 30 or over 300% ,it seems you the poster is not in Nigeria.
How can gari price that jumps from 800 naira to 4k amount to 30% increase if I may ask.
even that 300% is questionable,I am a farmer and we sold one bag of pepper for #15k by this time last year, now it is close to #70k,I am not an economist but that is definitely not 300%

I agree. We stopped buying beans and yams for now. I increased buying milk (Hollandia 45g) to complement for protein. Yam? No!
