Because my date of birth and state of origin in my jamb profile is different from the one on my NIN slip I made a mistake when registering for jamb then so I went to jamb office in March this year to did corrections on the date of birth and state of origin so today I just decided to check if the correct has reflect on my jamb profile so I reprint my result slip in order to check but it's still the same
Pls what can I do ma 🙏🙏🙏 and is reprinting of result slip is not proper way to check

I need your guidance on n this, I recently completed the JAMB regularization process and and was approved,I received a new registration number last week, and I've printed my new admission letter. While I'm waiting for the department to release results before I could do clearance and submit the new jamb letter, I was so surprising to see that I've been mobilized by my old jamb reg number. Can this be rectified sir?

Hi, if I understand you well, the registrar at your school at the time you applied for your regulatization is no longer in-charge.
This is not your concern, but if you're worried about the transfer of your files/case, I would suggest you go to see the new registrar with an acknowledged copy of your submissio. If it has been forgotten or swept somewhere, this new person can easily pick it up and treat accordingly.

Be calm. NYSC will allow you.
When you get to camp to do your registration properly the attendant would raise it. Just apologize and let them know it's an error from your school.


What I am concerned about now is the names to appear on your NYSC certificate.
Ordinarily, the name on your school certificate should tally with the name on your NYSC certificate.


Do you want to use just your first and last name or do you want to add your middle name?

Hello , I gained admission through Part time. I didn’t do any jamb so I don’t have jamb reg no at all. So I tried to do the regularization last year December, but I was told at the jamb office that they can’t do it for me probably coz they stopped doing it. So I went back to my school to tell them and they asked me to do the part time registration instead of regularization and I did. I was given indemnity form to submit to my school. Since December 15th, I haven’t heard anything from jamb. And anytime I tried checking the status , it keeps saying the transaction ID supplied has not been used to apply. I don’t know what to do o. Could it be that my school hasn’t submitted or there’s something else I should do. And I also want to ask if part time registration no is different coz mine is 11 digits instead of 10 digits total.

My middle name is missing from my jamb and school details but is present in other documents like my NIN(meaning I have 3 names here), will this be a big issue regarding NYSC?

Hello , I gained admission through Full time 2021 not on jamb portal but school portal and I was given another course instead of the course that was on my jamb caps. So I tried to do the regularization this year in order to obtain Direct Entry Form, but I was told at the jamb office that they can’t do it for me that I should go to school for them to upload my details. So I went back to my school to tell them and they uploaded my details.Since then, I haven’t heard anything from jamb. And anytime I tried checking the status , it keeps saying that my details has been uploaded on jamb caps that it is being processed by the jamb desk officer that I should check back later.
Have gone to school to complain they said it is not in there hands that they have uploaded my details.
Pls can you tell me what to do in order to get my jamb regularization done coz I don't really understand?

Please,I have two questions

1) I am currently in my final year in uni. I made a mistake in registering my name in jamb in the year 2018. I registered my name as Agu-King Chisom. I later found out when registering into uni that my birth certificate name is Aguking Chisom. If I apply for jamb name correction,will I be affected during NYSC as my Nin has a middle name,that is on my Nin it's Aguking Chisom Vanessa

2) I applied for name correction as earlier stated in jamb since 2022. Now I'm about to graduate and they haven't fixed it. My school asked me to write a letter to stop vetting of my name on transcript and certificate because I want my first and last name to at least tally in my docs. I found out after reaching out to jamb support that my school didn't submit the indemnity form they gave me. Do I need to go back to jamb office and reapply again or should I just print out the indemnity form and resubmit to my school?
Also,how long does jamb name correction take?

Please,I went to jamb office for regulization and after the whole process I was told to go to cyber cafe and tell them to print it. My question what are my to print, I’ll will like to do it with my laptop instead of paying unnecessary fees
