franchasofficia:Ojude oba is Lagos to u Mr Man or you guys just love to attach Yoruba to every topic that comes up on Nairaland due to low esteem. Yoruba don't forget their source o. They even build house in their home town before thinking of Lagos or Ibadan. |

franchasofficia: I want to correct you now. What you said about Yorubas not going home is not true. I was raised with my siblings in Lagos. There's nothing about my town in Kogi State that I don't know, even the language. I never lived there, yet I know. That's because it's a tradition every Christmas, you must return. Come and see my choir in the church during the festive period, very scanty. That's because almost everyone has gone back home. We do renovations as often as we can once there's a need for it. These things you claim you do are not extraordinary achievements. There's nothing spectacular about them believe me. It's only normal for you to keep your ancestral home in good shape if not for anybody, for you. |

Samakus: Odiekpe is not a village in the sense that you put it. Traversing a vast stretch of road and bordering the River Niger, it is quite a large community, with respected citizens home and abroad. The school is actually a privately owned one, but long due for rehabilitation by the family of the former owner Chief Ede. Itโs quite a spacious compound, directly facing the river at Okoti, Odiekpe. Thatโs a good gesture by Ezeobi. I hope more citizens of Odiekpe can copy this and do something great for their citizens. Most importantly is the issue of the road. I hope the federal government can come to the aid of the people, just as we have been asking the FG or Delta state government to do something about tge Oko community by the head bridge, Asaba. Thank you very much to a Zobis. |

placeofallure: So Yorubas in Kogi state are Yorubas. Ok. Igbo speaking people of Rivers State and Delta are not Igbos unless when they commit crimes. Yoruba people, una dey try divide Igbo people because of political reasons. I no blame you guys, na the Igbo people I dey blame. 1 Like |

Santalpharay: You don't understand. I don't want to mention my name here. My name and surname is pure, undiluted Yoruba. The thing is some parts of Kogi State, especially the Yoruba speaking part, otherwise known as the Okun people are indigenous Yorubas, we shouldn't have been part of Kogi State in the first place. |
Re: Man Visits Alma Mater, Vows To Transform It In 2 Months by Santalpharay: 9:16pm On Jun 26 |
placeofallure: Thank you for saying that. A lot of Igbo speaking people where carved into Rivers State. People of same culture and ancestry divided along state lines. The funny thing here is; when they are seen in positive vibes, they will be called Niger Deltans. But when they commit crimes, they will be reminded that they are Igbos. The thing tire me |
