Hi everyone,

So happy to find this here... didn't know this thread exists.
I applied for Senior HRIS Engineer and I got a mail from Saville for test date (July 8th) and they provided a set of instructions regarding what to do with attached document explaining how the test would go.

I was hoping to find a study group in preparation for this test since I've never written a test like this before. Most of my interviews as a software engineer are always technical based

I gave a specific amount, but I'd suggest you shouldn't worry about what you mentioned as expected salary since it is a direct (not contract) employment. The company will still pay you what they pay for that position (regardless of whether you stated a very low or very high amount), you may only choose to accept or reject the offer letter. And the call conversation was obviously not for local employment, cos I was asked if I would love to relocate to France (Paris) for the job.
.

Boss man please I’d like to know
Would you be doing the online assessment with the rest of us or your case is VIP and it was from application to interview to job straight type of thing.
I also applied for the inspection engineer but the last thing I got from them was a mail telling me to expect a test link from saville. This was probably over two weeks ago and i haven’t gotten feedback from them

Ofcourse!
I wasn't sure how comfortable you'd be sharing some personal info (Name) here but I'm glad we are on the same track.
First if you're on linkedin, I'd love to follow you.
Secondly, when you're asked for salary, please what did you tell them in USD, did you give them a range or did you call a specific amount?
Was it before 5k or above...
You mean 5k per month?

Big boss this one that they were asking you if you’d like to relocate to France , would they require that you know how to speak French? Or you knowing how to speak French or not (bilingual proficiency) doesn’t matter

Any references to invite invitation needs to be state clearly.
What invitation r u referring?

1. Is it TOTAL' s assessment's invitation notification for a test to be administered by SAVILLE?

2. Is it assessment/test invite from SAVILLE?

A good number of candidates in d disciplines of Nursing, Accounts, HRIS, Security have now received direct mails form SAVILLE. Thier test dates r btw 1st - 8th July.

Other candidates from Logistics had received d TOTAL notification for assessment and are yet to be contacted by SAVILLE.

Inspections engrs: This category not really clear. But some individuals have indicated either of d following:

1. Direct international calls from France OR
2. Mail notification from TOTAL followed with calls.

TELECOMS ENGINEERS: I am yet to see any candidate that received notification from TOTAL for test. Pls, if u r in this category, kindly indicate. It's just for informative purposes that other candidates can draw conclusions.

Wishing you d best & happy weekend form here!

Please, I've a question that's confusing a bit. This current one recruitment that people are getting invites for test is different from the GT that was out about 2weeks ago, right?

SUMMARY OF WHATS HAPPENING SO FAR!!
-Some candidates that received the verification mail didn't receive any mail for assessment.
While some are still hopeful some have started receiving rejection mails from TotalEnergies as at 12pm today.
-some candidates wrote their assessment today, while many are saying it's a walk through others are saying it's hard...mixed reactions.
Telecoms candidates haven't heard anything from TotalEnergies yet, some are now wondering if it's because of #CHIVIDO that TotalEnergies have forgotten about them.
-Inspection Engineers are still hopeful that theirs is directly from France, just 2-3 mins phone calls to about 10 of them so far.. they are waiting for the main interview.

I wish all of us success 🙌

It's important to note at this point that TotalEnergies send an auto generated regret mail after 90 days or so after application. Many at times people who get this auto generated regret mail still get to proceed to the next level in the recruitment process. This happened very well at the Total recruitment of 2019. While it's important that we do not attach much emotions to the whole recruitment process it's equally important to remain optimistic regardless of the REGRET MAIL. Cheers!
