Hello my people.
Which agency can help me sort out my bill with OVO energy. They are trying to rip me off . I use to submit my meter reading monthly but they claimed I didn't submit my feb-April reading so they gave me outrageous estimated billing. They agreed that I submitted January , may and June. I asked them the estimated amount should be the difference between January and May reading divided by Feb March and April but they chose to give outrageous estimated billing. I have be listed as debtor and recovery agent is asking me to pay. Please which agency or body can help me to resolve this issue. Note I have been to citizens advisory bureau but not much came out.

Since they have confirmed the reading for January, the ideal thing is to recalculate your bill from January (reading) to June (reading), then deduct any amount paid between January and June. They will need to add any outstanding balance prior to the reading provided in Jan or deduct any credit balance as the case may be. They might throw in an estimated reading in March due to tarrif change but that should not have a significant effect on your final bill.

Utilities companies are becoming a nightmare nowadays, it was talktalk trying to force a fake contract down my throat in April, last week scottish power added £10 debt to my credit file when they are the ones actually owing me the £10. Thankfully I spotted it early and chased them up.

I've used OVO for years without issues, they seem to be very reasonable.

Couldn't they just calculate the energy you have used from before the time you forgot to take the readings to today , determine the cost. Determine how much you have paid since then and subtract from the cost of what you have used to date to determine what you owe. Or is your meter a special one?

It may be a question of access to abortion and contraception. Some people are 1 issue voters. They ll rather vote for a r****t ,felon and fraudster than accept a person's right to choose. Also LGBTQ . I would like to ask those "Christians" what would Jesus do if he met a gay man? What about "love your neighbour as yourself"?

For others, it's immigration. Trump is a well known racist so they ll follow him to the ends of the earth.

Trump is a grifter and has always been all his life, these so called christians knew this but still lick his boots. So embarrassing to say the least

I lived in Worcester for almost 10 years. It used to be a small backwater city. It's cheap university and proximity to Birmingham has seen it balloon in population. It's still a relatively quiet and lovely city. Everything still shuts down between after 7pm so nothing has changed in that respect!
It also has a mainline station. There are lots of Nigerians there and I hear they have a Nigerian association as well.
Schools are good if you have children too.
Cost of living is same as everywhere else - I was shocked looking at rentals. I should have bought a house there! Can't speak for jobs but when I lived there, I worked in Birmingham and commuted so you have access to the 2nd largest city in the UK

No transit visa needed for Qatar.
Just avoid the European airlines like KLM, Air France etc.
Ethiopia, Turkish and co are decent , no transit visa needed

Clearly you no well grin grin

He has taken from Trumps playbook, British first(Make America Great again), immigration(build the wall and Mexico will pay for it) and Muslims (Ban Muslims from coming to America)

This is the same dude that promised us millions for NHS if the UK leaves the EU, where is the money now?

Some ideological trends are difficult to reverse. Afterall, Hitler convinced Germans that jews were the cause of their problems. He and Boris by ensuring Brexit were huge blessings to the Nigerian community here. My small 9ja community balooned last year. We don get African shop join sef.

One thing I still dont get is why they have allowed immigration be a main issue at every election in recent memory when it's super easy to curb. Already, the birth rate is well below replacement rate plus with a good number of Brits ('expats' hehe) emigrating yearly, the population would naturally fall. On top of that, just end PSW visas for new entrants, a 20-30% levy on fees students coming over, end the care visa route and stop the NHS from employing oversees health workers and boom! Population drops, housing becomes cheap, stew everywhere! Japan is a shining example.

I wonder how every government over the last 20 years + have struggled to achieve what could be sorted in an afternoon. As I keep singing, the UK has never willfully chosen immigration. It's when looking down the loaded barrel of economic decline that they do- not out of want, but need.

I know the answer to that question...£3.3 billion

That is how much immigrants contributes to public finance annually. If they cut immigration, they cut their source of income.

So its either they cut immigration and increase taxes or they reduce taxes, get more immigrants in for cheap labour and finance social services.

You could try spraying diluted bleach onto areas in your garden where it likes to go and do its business. Cats are territorial and their smell will keep attracting them. Bleach should disrupt the pheromones, but make sure it's not concentrated - you don't want to kill it.

So every country that wants to control immigration is akin to Hitler? What about when Nigeria expelled the Ghanaians years ago because of fears they were taking all the jobs etc?

To the bolded, these are exactly the measures that the government has recently introduced. Students were not an issue (the Chinese have the highest proportion of students - over 300k - and they are highly valued especially as they have a reputation for attending the red bricks) until the number of dependants exploded and it became obvious what the game was. Same applies to care visas - wasn't an issue until all the fake cos and high number of dependants, some of them sham arrangements. Now that dependants in these groups have been banned, migration figures have already dropped and are forecast to fall significantly. Labour has pledged to stop NHS recruiting from red list countries such as Nigeria, Zimbabwe etc. That will effect another drop if it's implemented.

20, 10, 5 years ago, net migration was averaging 200k and that was regarded as too high. It's quite naive to think that the government and majority of the electorate would not be concerned/alarmed at recent net migration levels of 750k, especially when they estimated that a high proportion of these are "economically inactive".

They are already cutting immigration though and the reality is Labour will have to work hard to bring the numbers down further if they plan on being re elected for a second term.

Their issue isn't against highly skilled migrants. No one complains that there are too many surgeons or engineers coming in. They complain when there is a an influx of immigrants into low paid roles. The argument is that low income = low tax revenue = negative economic contribution. The MAC recently admitted that the main benefit in such cases is not economic, but lies in filling roles that the native population otherwise does not want to do.

lol..Our spin doctor, I know you will attempt to spin this around . My question to you is this.. how did these low paid migrants get into the country? We are not talking about illegal migration here. So tell me how we ended up having so many people into the country with limited resources.

Nothing beats octopus for me. Just ensure they give you smart meter and you can monitor your daily energy usage online graphically which can make you know how to cut back on usage and they also give points for using lesser energy at some point.

To the Seniors In The House

Hello everyone,

In April, an employee was hired to directly report to me, in the past few weeks, I noticed he is always slow to respond to tickets, make so much errors which I have been covering his ass for, spends loads of time surfing the internet for music related stuffs including elections stuffs, listen loudly to music and would have to tap him to communicate with him. whenever this is pointed out to him, he is defensive, he lashes out that he is being micromanaged. is this really being micro managed? What is the best line of action to this? Even though I did sent a report of this to my line manager the IT Director last night and also have minute of our 121 meeting documented(with some of this issues mentioned).

NOTE: He is yet to pass probation in which review will be in about 2weeks.

My problem with your position, is not officially documenting your concerns (from DAY 1).....

Why did you deem it your responsibility to cover up, for an employee you are meant to micro - manage.......

If you don't document your concerns or raise concerns with HR/line manager...... They never happened.......

So when his probation review is due, you want to download all your concerns/observations, at one sitting.......

If i was in your shoes, from a few weeks of observing negative work ethics from the employee, I am washing my hands off........ 🤣😂
