it is so interesting , Despite Ghana ties with the western power, she receives less aid than Niger.

Normally , I would have said Ghana should be in top five.

I told them they should expect things to go south
Haiti story, warned them he is just aiding US neocolonilism

He's been invited to the white house, G7, now kenya announced US non NATO allie

Now kenya will be used as gateway to further destabilise the region as it has foreign military bases

But im glad the youth are waking up now

He will not get that chance. He has conceded and withdrawn the finance bill. Between now and 2027 when Kenyans vote him out of office he will have it rough. He won't do anything that Kenyans don't approve. The dictator has been culled. Now he finally knows the people have the ultimate supreme power thanks to the constitution he vehemently opposed in 2010 because he envisioned it culling his appetite for power, money, and tyranny one day. Even if he bribes all legislators the average citizens will still have their way. Doesn't matter how many billions he loots and buys politicians with.

We have enough examples here in Africa on what political instability does on otherwise promising countries. I'm yet to see any protest that has been successful in chasing away foreign debtors or debt being written off out of empathy for citizen cries.

I really don't like typing long, but I will be quick sha. You are really sounding like a politician or someone who is on the payroll of this present administration. It's very stupid and disrespectful of you to say, insecurity has reduced significantly, And I mean book haram, bandits, kidnapping and herdsmen attacks has been reduced to a record low. This shows that is either you are on the payroll of the government, and you will say anything to defend them, or you are not informed, and chooses to be ignorant to what's happening in the country. Not everybody that speaks about the evil of the government is against the country, we have to speak because it affects us in one way or the other. On the road infrastructure, you are not a frequent traveller, and I can bet you hardly knows of any Nigerian roads. You are the type that relies on news to tell you how roads are being constructed left right center, mine while nothing as such is going on. Few roads are being constructed, I agree, but not the way you are putting it. The only thing you could have told me is that, the government is still just 1 year in office, and I could have just kept my peace.
You said it's to early to have a full accessment on healthcare, the price of medical drugs and other medical equipments has gone up X4 of it's actual price, since this present administration came in. A wise government, can't just come in and remove fuel subsidy, health subsidy, electricity subsidy, education subsidy and any other subsidies all at once and claim is saving the economy. You came in when the economy was ranked 1st in Africa, now we are 4th in Africa. A government who is asking you to tighting your belts and be patients with the government, is spending 21 billion, to renovate a structure. Increased lawmakers salaries by almost 300%, yet, can't increase civil servants salaries. You have it, doesn't mean that all Nigerians have it. It's even a big security threat to you, to have it, while majority peoples around you don't. And that is the reason why kidnapping and arm robberies has been on the increase.
Tinubu increased lawmakers salary?Constitutionally can he do that?

Calm down bro, I know tension is high in Kenya right now,
But we should be guided with our actions, u have no other country other than Kenya.
Ruto will come and go, guess what will still remain, it is kenya.
So don't preach anarchy or chaos.
If anarchy rear its head, things will go spiral downward from there nd the problems that leads to protest will still persist.
Am not saying y'all shouldn't hold ruto accountable but threatening should never be encouraged.
This storm will surely pass.

Concerning the "power tussle" I talk about
There re always some hyenas at the corridor of power waiting for anarchy to set in, inorder to grab the mantle of power, God forbids it happens, if it eventually happen, trust yall might regret it.

No one has a problem with that as long as the govt cuts its excessive spending, all govt officials must cut their salaries and bonuses significantly before they even think of taxing us more. They must also seal all corruption loopholes before even contemplating taxing us one shilling more. Its a very simple point but obviously its lost to a short dwarf like you from an insignificant country.

I don’t envy them; at least not yet; but it’s all perspective at the moment. They haven’t shown us anything yet. Revolutions and Coups in Africa are nothing new it’s the norm since “independence” some would say and 99% of them don’t result “revolutioning” the country. Everything usually remains more or less the same if not worse unfortunately. Countries like Egypt & the Central Francophones have yearly revolutions and nothing changes. Will have to see how this ends and how things change in the coming years in Kenya to get an accurate assessment.

“Although it hasn't ended police brutalities in the country.”
Unfortunately police issues are the worldwide norm especially for developing countries. Even developed countries like America & China seem to have an eternal struggle with it.

We are really suffering in Nigeria right now, a lot is going on. It's not really easy”.
Thats the entire world right now.

“ the youths are helpless and hopeless.” “ We are completely divided and shredded. And that is the exacts plans of those politicians, divide and conquer”.
Speak for yourself and yourself alone not everybody is a failure.

“ We haven't seen any improvement on our roads”.
This is a complete and misinformation; numerous new roads, terminals, trams, vehicle plants, housing properties, and other public facilities are being completed every year and the results of proof is everywhere & easily accessible.

“ One would think that, after removal of fuel subsidy, education subsidy, electricity subsidy and health subsidy, that there will be an improvement in all these agencies, but no, still nothing. Security zero, education zero, health care zero, roads zero”.

Again that’s also extreme misinformation. Some of the biggest refineries in the hemisphere have come online the past year with a predicted complete cheap fuel, oil, and gas dependency status within 24-48 months with enough excess to sell in large quantities on the mark.

Same with electricity & power; new Power Plants, Wind, and Solar farms are going up every year. There’s also a couple dams under construction. You can literally look up the progress in photos online or drive up there yourself.

Attacks/Deaths from bandetry, piracy, and fundamentalist groups like BokoHarem are at a decade low.

It’s to early to get an accurate assessment of improvement on healthcare and education.

quote author=Jamestown123 post=130652509]If it was Nigeria now, the military would have started shooting and killing innocent protesters already.

If you’re attacking civilian private or government property you are no longer “innocent” and occupents of the establishment have the right to defend themselves should they find themselves in mortal danger if they choose to do so.

Don’t get me wrong Nigeria ain’t ideal at the moment for anyone and never really was but some of this doomer exaggeration is getting out of control.

Ps. I thought you were Ghanaian? Could have sworn I saw you reping the Gold Coast until recently. Your Ghanaian town name and everything. Not to mention your conflicting information drops in regards to Nigeria. Did you relocate to Nigeria or share a similar username with a past user?

You forgot to tell that dude, allocations for states have increased tremendously.
But they never think of holding their state govt responsible like they like to hold fed govt responsible.
They ve forgotten we have three tier govt.
What did we know, we must be enemy of the nation.
Since we can't rally in the name of protest.

It's not like they have a choice. They have been categorically told so by the entire population. They now have to choose their bed and lie in it. This is not tiny Ghana where citizens can't even protest. Here the citizens talk and the govt has no choice.
