The number of watts it takes to charge an electric car can vary depending on the type of charger and the efficiency of the vehicle. Here are some estimates
- Average electric car charger: 7,200 W of electricity
- Average watts per mile: 0.346 kWh per mile
- Average monthly consumption for an electric car: 408 kilowatt-hours

At ₦75 per Kilowatt X 408 kW = ₦30,600. Just to charge your car in a month. Apart from your other home electric consumptions
Check out the estimate in the screenshot.
47km at 9.4kwh daily.
I pay around N206 per 1kwh on band A.
9.4 kwh x N206= N1936 daily for 47km.
In 30 days = 58k.
A full tank in my car cost me over 58k and certainly does not last me more than 5 days.
