Ben is back for pre season. Ben, Ogbu, Osho should be our main focus henceforth. Ekong and Omeruo should be in the pool too.

African Athletics Update: Although Nigeria women’s 4x400m relay team won the gold in Douala, Cameroon, their winning time was not enough to secure an Olympics spot🥹 Nonetheless, Nigeria will feature four relay teams at the Paris Olympics: men and women’s 4x100m, men’s 4x400m, and the mixed 4x400m relays.. 1 Like |

Stat sheet don't tell the whole story but they give a good indication of how effective a player was and Lampard's record speaks for itself which is impressive considering he played in an era facing exceptional midfielders who most coaches would play ahead of KDB in a heartbeat.. Great managers like Mourinho, Ancelotti, Hiddick saw Frank first hand and he was always one of the first names on the team sheet so I will definitely take their observation over someone with an agenda to cook. Plus you've still failed to state in what area KDB surpasses Lamps. Bring facts non of these emotional ad hominem you have been dishing out since morning. kendrick9: 3 Likes 1 Share |

chrisooblog: It is actually the other way around. We had loads of very poor players with good players shining over them. De Bruyne is actually playing in an era where tactics are insane, physical fitness is crazy. Diet is crazily researched and defending is far better. |

TheGoodJoe:Let's say in 20 years from now, and someone who is obsessed by the kind of game being played in that era says exactly the same thing u just said or u kept saying, insisting that football played 20 years ago by KDB and co is so inferior to that of their generation. What would be ur reaction to that person? |

chrisooblog: Manchester United parked bus in FA Cup finals. That is enough to tell that you are just arguing. When Manchester City meets top quality sides, we face them head on. Lampard in Chelsea most times were sitting deep because of lack of competition. Watch this clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz8ZEZkE4pM Watch how De Bruyne works his socks off for the team. Watch his intensity. The distance he runs to create space. The passes. Look at his work rate in the plays. |

Napoleon55: It will take tactics going to nil for technical play to dominate. I just don't see it happening. What we will rather see is tactical advancement that will make technical play look horrifying. |

Mujtahida: Still can't remember it. But I can still remember he took this penalty that attracted praises. Sad I can't remember it. Still sad how Uruguay took them out. That was where I took note of Forlan. Two brilliant goals from Forlan and Anchen was enough to sink the mighty Brazilians. I hope my memory serves me right here. It is a long time. |

Brilliant Ball playing defenders are built that way. They move or carry the swagger of midfielders but they are not midfielders. They are defenders. Some of such are called Liberos. Marjoribanks: |

Anybody watch the NBA draft? France's youth sporting infrastructures are 2nd to none. I expect them to start dominating Track some time soon. This Summer Olympics will be a watershed moment for them. 1 Like |
