I'm not sure that they are as damaging to his brand om twitter as was made out here.

LinkedIn is going to be a huge problem though.
I think he has deleted them and locked his account

Omor, Jarus is toast. I no even see this one before, and to think he could have continued to plead self-defense, like this is one of those things you deny to the very last. This just looks like someone being a victim of his standards...he's probably used to saying the truth in all things and didn't think admitting to domestic violence was one of those things you flat out deny...most likely there was provocation, even assault from his wife's end, but nobody go wan hear dawan when you admit publicly say you dey beat your wife.

He said he's performing his islamic right mehn that statement is confusing me over and over
Islam never make it compulsory to have second wife, but if you are capable and must satisfy both women equally in everything (we know that's never possible)
That statement sounds too biased like he's the only one with right and the woman doesn't
But he did the right thing afterwards by trying to make her happy and also doing the right to divorce her

God I hate when people start parading prophet or fetish places they are bound to go astray for life, the woman won't stop and will be out for blood

Omo e go bloody ooo, people dey even call her novice for patronising cele pastor and tiktok babalawo when she is actually from ilorin and there is ijebu etc...Twitter people na barstadtts cheesy

Too late.

Jarus is a corporate influencer. I'm not active on twitter but I see his content a lot on LinkedIn.

This could leave a significant dent in his career.

Dey play!

Anytime from now he can make it to Instablog or any of those blogs. Even people who don't know him before will suddenly be on his case.

If he has had any issues with the feminist coalition on twitter, be rest assured they will milk this own goal dry.

This is exactly my own thought too. I also didn't see anywhere he admitted to domestic violence, I just thought the troll made it up. When I saw that tweet I gave up!

There's no defence for that. Domestic violence is a serious crime in Lagos state. If the wife wants to be vindictive or decides to take the advice of his opps, baba is toast. He goofed big time.

You're talking about social media clout which Jarus imo doesn't even need.

I'm looking more at the corporate brand the man had built - as a published author, a philanthropist, a finance thought leader in the oil and gas sector, a real estate developer, etc.

To me that's where this has the most potential to do him the most damage. Having to deal with twiiter opps is comparatively almost inconsequential.bin my opinion

Damn!

This is some messed up shiiit right there. The bros should not have posted all those videos online, at least for the sake of their kids( I learnt they have 3 kids from the marriage.)

I get the wife's brother dragged him for attempting to marry another wife and made domestic violence allegations, but mehn..... He should just have posted the letter of his lawyers initiating divorce proceedings and that's all.

He messed up posting all of those videos trying to prove a point to people online who don't give a 4ck

We are saying the same thing. The twitter clout which he doesn't care about is what will lead to damage of his corporate brand.

The people u see on twitter will make sure his business partners see some of those damaging stuff. Some brands will avoid working with him because of the twitter rofo rofo

Serious issues. People will forget what led to the whole rofo rofo and focus on the wife beating angle.

He will most likely take a long break from social media

Lol...dawan dey sha, but it's difficult for anybody that sees him initiating divorce proceedings with his first wife not to think it's a convenient excuse for him to enjoy his genZ wife without dealing with the drama from his first.

Well. I haven't seen any of those screenshot bleed over to LinkedIn which is where I think the real damage could be done.

From a PR perspective, I'd be advising him to keep it that way and just go dark on twitter for a while till this blows over.

Jarus does not need twitter in my opinion.. he only has about 60k followers there, most of whom are unlikely to have the means to be his potential customers.

It's not like Jarus is primarikly Twitter Commentator on twiiterNG. He's a corporate brand who just happens to tweet. There'd a difference.

Personally, I think if he keeps his dead down for a little bit. He'll be fine. Gen Z pockets are not as deep as their memories are long.

Problem 1 is that his wife is very unhappy about his plan to marry a second wife. The wife was so unhappy that she engaged a herbalist. Now he has said he will divorce her. Enough feminist coalition types will reach out to her to provide support in how to go about this. Nigeria is not obodo oyibo, but it can still get very nasty.

Problem 2 is he has been very careless throwing figures around. He is either with pwc as a tax consultant or on his own. I am not sure. Either way people will not be comfortable working with a person who can get upset, loose guard and throw cash figures about.

Problem 3 is that there is an army of obidients who want to fk over anyone who does not go along with them. They are still smarting from the election predictions
