Well. I haven't seen any of those screenshot bleed over to LinkedIn which is where I think the real damage could be done.

From a PR perspective, I'd be advising him to keep it that way and just go dark on twitter for a while till this blows over.

Jarus does not need twitter in my opinion.. he only has about 60k followers there, most of whom are unlikely to have the means to be his potential customers.

It's not like Jarus is primarikly Twitter Commentator on twiiterNG. He's a corporate brand who just happens to tweet. There'd a difference.

Personally, I think if he keeps his dead down for a little bit. He'll be fine. Gen Z pockets are not as deep as their memories are long.

Jarus has clients on twitter especially for his business.
The damage from twitter extends beyond twitter

Exactly. Jarus' Twitter popularity extends outside Twitter, and you don't have to be following an account to know of that account...Jarus is popular way beyond the 60K persons on his profile. He's even made mention of his kids getting wind of his online popularity from parents of other kids and their teachers in school that know the Jarus online brand.

In all, may marital issues that will reveal the beast hiding inside never come our way.

if you want to play at polygamy, it is better you have been a playboy from the start.

some of us can for want of a better word, handle women better than others.

i am not playa or alpha enough to be able to handle fallout of polgamy.

Just to comment on the beating part that people are asking if Islam allowed.

The 'beating' allowed is a very light beating that should not harm her in any way using stuff light siwak (chew stick) and it must not be in the face. Just a simple hitting. The beating is not beating in the real sense of it cos it has it own definition in Islam. You can't use koboko and term it beating , that one na you dey at fault.

Public crime confession?

Is he confessing to you? Abi wetin we catch am for?

A man sat down and wrote all he has gone through; What he spent and where he messed up.

That's honesty to me.

What is "light beating" ? undecided

Any form of beating involves pain no matter how little it is . In fact, the dictionary meaning of beating is "a punishment or assault in which the victim is hit repeatedly"

Beating is simply assault no matter how "light" it is

Nothing honest about beating your wife "a couple of times". That was a serious own goal. Also no woman would take polygamy lying low. Except she had/has her own plans from the beginning. I have a uni mate that went into polygamy fully prepared. She sef na agaracha and she clearly said she can't be with a monogamous man.

I do hope we can all agree that men (and women) grow into their taste of partners as they have more means. As a broke student, I was sure I didn't have a spec in men. It is foolhardy to assume one's husband cannot stray because she built with him.

Exactly, the whole Jarus thing just screams someone who's not experienced enough with women, or doesn't have the personality that makes it possible to handle the fallout of such drama expertly. You carry new wife enter house reason say buying her a few gifts was enough to put things to bed grin grin grin

I think it wasn't fair for Jarus to proceed with the divorce based off seeing his wife do juju sha, but I can understand reacting the way Jarus did if you're the very religious type.
