I have a theory on the bolded based on what i've observed especially in this modern era

1. Money - The Married guy tends to be older and (likely) richer; and most of all will [b]pay a premium cos of his disadvantage[/b]

2. Casting - He has his reputation/marriage to protect, so she feels safer knowing the unlikelihood of her being casted would happen. Almost like how celebrities/famous people cheat with each other rather than with outsiders.

3. Semblance of Perceived experience and care - I mean, he's already married and been there and what not. So why not?

I know Nigerian men in the USA that are polygamous. I did not believe it happened until I dated one of their daughters and she told me. He is married to two women in the USA (both women are Nigerian, all involved are Muslims). The two women don't live in same house. They live in different houes infact in different states but they are well aware of each other and the children know themselves. He alternates between them but of course he has a favorite and both women are not in good terms with each other, they don't see eye to eye at all.
