Are they not out of jail already? If they were sentenced in 2021, they would have served the 6 and 8 jail terms already. I think the appeal was to clear their names ... As they say in NL, I am just asking for a friend |

This bank have innovative ideas. They were the first to jettison teller book. Just enter the bank and pick withdrawal slip. You are good to go. Before other bank copied it. In those day you will need to go back home to carry teller book before you can withdraw |

GeneralPula: Nobody chop any Bank dry, what actually happened to the Bank MD is power tussle with the late Yaradua's family, Nigeria is deeper than you think, there was a merger between Platinum Bank and Habib bank owns by Abiola and Yaradua's family, the MD was a victim of boardroom politics..... Nigeria is deeper than what we see on the surface..... 3 Likes 1 Share |

People that didn't know what transpired are here commenting rubbish. I strongly believed that Sanusi was on a vendetta mission against Erastus Akingbola of Intercontinental Bank, Francis Atuche of Bank PHB and Cecelia Ibru of Oceanic. The three Banks were still meeting their obligations to their customers till the time Sanusi hammer came on them. There may have been some breach of corporate governance but Sanusi's action was excessive and high handed. Those banks wouldn't have collapsed if he had allowed those MDs to steer the banks from any financial crisis. These were seasoned bankers that founded and nurtured those banks. There was no way those CEOs would have allowed their businesses to go under. Sanusi just used his office to get even with those CEOs. It wasn't just about maladministration and lack of corporate governance. Did Sanusi follow all the laid down corporate governance policy of CBN when he was the governor? 4 Likes |

Morbeta11: Platinum Bank had bigger stake in the merger arrangement, this is why the man retained his position as the GMD after the merger, can we sincerely compare state of Kingston bank today and Bank PHB before the Sanusi script ed takeover that took away the bank.management from Mr.Francis Atuche? |
