Families (extended) that cooperate and love each other are always rich. Love and harmony brings wealth among family cycle.

Families that doesn't cooperate and hate each are always struggling, maybe poor. Hatred , malice and wickedness brings backwardness, poverty among family cycle.

What destroyed Abiola family wealth is hatred and malice among his children. Abiola was good man but didn't raise his children very well. Lack of love and cooperation among his household destroyed Abiola dynasty.

I must strive to cooperate and love my wife when I get married .And again raise my children to love and cooperate with one another. I mean make them look out for one another. It helps

Good for you.
Re: What I Observed About Families by helinues: 10:26pm On Jun 28
In Kendrick Lamar's voice, family is fake.

Lamar's feel song really addressed this topic.

I feel like a chip on my shoulders
I feel like I'm losin' my focus
I feel like I'm losin' my patience
I feel like my thoughts in the basement
Feel like, I feel like you're miseducated
Feel like I don't wanna be bothered
I feel like you may be the problem
I feel like it ain't no tomorrow, Bleep the world
The world is endin', I'm done pretendin'
And Bleep you if you get offended
I feel like friends been overrated
I feel like the family been fakin'
I feel like the feelings are changin'
Feel like my daughter compromised and jaded
Feel like you wanna scrutinize how I made it
Feel like I ain't feelin' you all
Feel like removin' myself, no feelings involved
I feel for you, I've been in the field for you
It's real for you, right? Shit, I feel like

God go bless you for this observation...

However, be careful of the woman you marry...the woman you choose to be the mother of your children.....

Not all women are destined to be good mothers....

See if there is any troubled family you know ....na the woman called mother.....dey mostly dey behind...the fights and quarell....cos she will compare her children and make them compete with each other..thereby creating malice and breeding hatred among them

Polygamy caused the hatred in Abiola's family case. Reasonable numbers of Abiola's children was known after his demise

What about when you tried to love and you get paid back with treachery and deception. I used to think like the op until I realized in an ideal world, not everyone will reciprocate your love.

You might even raise your children with all the love in the world and one of them will grow up to be a monster.

I now take life as purely transactional; you love me, I love you back, I call you back when you call me, you remember and celebrate my birthday, I do the same for you. You care for me, I do same for me.

Never expect love from me when not ready to show me love.

If you are not a business partner, sorry ain't interested in keeping any friends. Majority of them are just opportunists .

Except if one refused to learn a shit you would be keeping unnecessary friends. What you might need from them is not even close to their demands .

I don't know whether people have a short memory. The people you have helped severally, the moment you turned down their request, you suddenly become an enemy

It's actually a waste of time. Something wey person don do wey no dey profitable.

Stone heart now, if not business, don't.

Good relationship can translate into money and connections tomorrow. I have my childhood friend from high school, he is my best friend and closer to me than my family members.

We do lots of business together as well. Good friendship can also translate to better money making ideas and opportunity.

Let me just say most of the so called friends always taken an advantage of me as I take things easy. It doesn't worth it anymore so need of struggling. People mostly care when they need something from you

I agree and this mirrors my experience mostly, the sad aspects are some family members behaving and toeing this trend. I have had to cut off cousins and uncles.

Bro imagine a friend that you have been talking to almost daily for years but got married twice without you even have a clue.

Why should such person be referring me as his friend? The definition of friendship is really missing.

I stopped arguing or complaining to those who deliberately satisfied their egos.

No that is not acceptable and that friend will only remember you when they have a need for money.

Family members are not exceptional. I have realized that average people are just opportunists .

One thing I hate most in my life is for people to do things deliberately to satisfy their ego and then come later to apologize. Like wtf

Your independent observation is fine and your logical justification for whatever conclusion u came up with sounds very great but then, using this as a metric to explain generational success get K-Leg

All these can apply in a monogamous home but if na Polygamy, sometimes, the earlier you separate yourself from them, the closer u are to success and this isn't even superstitious

One of Abiola's sons was on Seun Okinbaloye's podcast last week saying that whilst Abiola was still in detention, his first son Kola was having an affair with Babangida's daughter. He also said that his older brother has not managed their Dads wealth and businesses well and is forming first son in order to selfishly hold on to all their Dads wealth.

He said his father Abiola had 40 wives and 103 children - 48 of which failed DNA testing after Abiola's death. He said something along the lines that he thought that his father was modest in the number of wives he had given the money he had and the population of Nigeria ??

You can always rely on family but remember they have their own burdens too. So you can't blame people

Father's are more impatient with their children not meeting expectations. Forget nollywood movies. Father's usually only listen to their son doing better and I don't buy that crap. In life, destinies and luck differs. And luck plays a huge role in success.

You cite Abiola just because his child came out to rain on the family, what makes you think the family is destroyed Do you know what it takes to have many kids and they refuse to say anything to the press They have enough sense not to bring everything to the media because it's none of their business. People who condemn polygamy to me are shallow-minded because I respect those our fathers now more than ever. Those men will bring all of us together from different mothers, wherever we are in the world till they died. We can't even organise families on WhatsApp groups, and then, someone is saying it's monogamy. Fela that married 27 women, how many times do you hear of controversies There are bad marriages and bad families, those who have it good hardly come outside so we all use the bad ones as yardstick for advice.

Teni's family is there, the man married 3 wives who love him and they show love outside. Why don't we hear that polygamous families are bad, this and that from them? If you don't know them, you wouldn't know they come from different mothers. This life, just build what you want. The guy above who said the woman is very important in raising a FAMILY is 👍🏼

People would mind to use you and dumb you later. People are mostly loyal when they need something from you. The moment they got their expectations, your messages don enter voicemail

Your comment resonates deeply with me. I do not know how to keep friends.

Whenever I’m lonely, I go out alone to a bar and drink & smoke my cigarettes.

Nice 1 O.P, I have made posts on this issue severally, and also share with people, this simple secret of most wealthy families. in fact, lack of love and unity in a family, is the foundation of generational backwardness.
E pain me say many people nor know!

Just look @ d ADELEKES, c d love and d way they support each other and u would know that, their wealth and influence WILL LAST FOR GENERATIONS, Its not because of the wealth but THE LOVE, SUPPORT AND STRONG BOND.
