D. The shorter the period of stay declared, the more easier to demonstrate proof of funds.

E. Being a business person, you can submit copies of your:
1. Incorporation documents
2. Evidence of last tax returns filed or evidence of tax compliance.

If you are applying for a visitor visa, don't use that means to upload your employment letter; that is meant for people who got jobs in Canada. Use the additional document location to upload all your documents you believe you want to share with the visa office. You can merge the documents together and compress them to a clear size less than 2 mb. Best.

1. Tax clearance certificate is not a mandatory request by IRCC but we still submit it becuase it demonstrate tax complaince and the person is either truly in business or employment. Yes, you can submit the JTB TC since you dont yet have an updated Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC).

2. Proof of funds available for your stay depends on the province and number of days you intend to stay. I would recommend you work towards using your bank statement. Your sister support should be a smaller portion of the overall budget. So you dont give the assessing visa officer doubt you have issue with finance and may want to work illegally or not return.


3. In addition to "2" above, avoid suspicious lumpsum deposits. You can give yourself time to build your statement in a transparent manner if you feel not yet ready based on your present bank account. It is better late than a refusal which can be painful.

4. Your only business with VFS Lagos would be when the Canadian Immigration invites you to appear for biometrics collection. That always comes when the applicant has submitted the application online and paid the full fees. At that time, you would only need to go with your passport, biometric instruction letter and your biro (thats all).

5. In addition to "4" above, cover letter or any other documents that would help your application would all be done online.

6. Regarding your question if $3,000 dollars is small. Thats roughly $4,000 dollars + in Canada. That should be fine in some Atlantic province but cant speak for all the province like Ontario and Alberta. You can do some sanity check by checking hotels prices in your province of destination. If you have someone in that area, they can give you a ballpark figure,that should help.

Also I heard the do POF for visa can I do d POF and how many days should I keep it. Or I should be sending in money to my personal account that I do use for expenses not my business account. I have personal Ecobank for business where customer do pay money for there goods, and fidelity for my savings. I do have steady inflow and outflow from the fidelity.

1.Now is it compulsory I will have a closing bal of that 3m in naira I budget for my 11days trip? Or I should just leave any bal as my closing bal since there is good inflow and outflow.
2. My blood sister is supporting with 3000$ and my own person budget both flight, hotel, train fare and food estimate is 2.3k plus but round figure I use 2.5m. Becos i saw cheaper hotels at Niagara fall for 630$cad.
3. I have filled the form but I submitted my old bank statement in order to save and continue what can I do in my IRCC account. Because I have uploaded my Nin, PASSPORT biodata,as IRCC requested when filling d last part of my application. I have an expired passport with west Africa travel stamp Togo and Benin republic can I upload it too in my application upload, CAC certificate all in my file but my TIN certificate is at home not uploaded in my Drive.

Please guide me on this I want to view my form and make some changes I tried saving my last application getting to fee side after bringing out the payment site I went back to my application to view my complete profile form is showing PENDING. As stated before, proof of funds depends on the province you intend to visit and length of days you intend to stay. As per the bolded in your response, i wont advise you do that. Let money flow into your business account naturally. You can then set aside amount available for your trip into your personal account. I wont be able to advise on amount to set aside being i dont live in Ontario.

2. You would need to do some research or if you have a friend who lives there to give you an estimate (hotel+feeding+places you intend to visit).

3. in additon, the VO dont expect you empty your account on a trip. for instance, you are setting aside $3,000 US dollars for your trip, your account balance should be significantly more than that. This would show you have a life in NIgeria and financially solvent. This is wny i advised you be patient and defer your application if the account is not yet well funded. Canada Visa officers are strict with POF reviews.

4. Your travel history to Togo and Benin Republic wont count much but you can attach it if you have space. Prioritize more important documents first. Cover letter and any other support documents goes to "Client Section". Consent section applies if you are using an agent/representative.

Hi just to add to what u have been told if example you are putting your sister as your sponsor and her statement has $4k and she is given you 3k for sponsorship this is a red flag it wouldn't fly cos the VOs will expect that someone sponsoring another person for holiday should have over enough execpt you can prove that the impact of the holiday will affect your sponsor very very positively, of possible I will suggest you go through the advice already given and think it over before submission it's always good to get it right on POF in the first attempt ,

thanks for your response so far, my budget for Hotel, food, flights and transportation to the tourist sites is 2.3m for 11DAYS. I'm using hotel reservation I don't have anyone staying in Canada. My hotel accommodation is at d hotel 3mins walk to Niagara fall total budget all for my trip including flight, food, hotel and tfare so far 2.3m 700naira. I have done the hotel reservation via booking.com cheaper one close to Niagra and flight not yet booked but I saw the flight fare for Sept 30th till Oct 10th 1.4m 600k but not booked . When i applied, i did not have a US visa but got my US visa on June 7th and raised a web form to update my application on 11th June.
I don't know if the US visa counted for my quick reply but all i know is that as at the time i applied and did biometrics, i had no US visa.
I was given 8 years visiting visa.

When i applied, i did not have a US visa but got my US visa on June 7th and raised a web form to update my application on 11th June.
I don't know if the US visa counted for my quick reply but all i know is that as at the time i applied and did biometrics, i had no US visa.

This depends on the how inflow enters the account because looking at it if she makes $7k every month it will make sense to give someone $3k to spend on 11 days holiday but if it's savings after a while the vo may look it that like what is so important that after someone has saved $7k for awhile she will give you halve of her investment to be spent within 11 days what is important of this holiday just try and think towards that angle also , cos if you had like #30m with heavy inflows then it will show ur not dependent on your sisters support , and she gives $1k out of $7k with steady inflows it means it's just relaxation just think about it

I think i already answered some of these questions before but i would still advise you to be patient on Canada and maybe try UK again to correct the previous refusal. You are having increasing refusal history based on this same topic of "Proof of Funds".

I am not sure if you are aware USA,UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand share information so at least one or both countries(you had the previous refusal) will reveal to Canada authorities reason for your refusal which might propel the officer to increase scrutiny on your POF support docs. So yes, you need to declare all refusals and state reasons to the best of your ability in your application. Not declaring your refusal will attract Procedural Fairness Letter and a 5 yrs ban if you cant defend your case.

In response to "No 1 question", sorry, i wont be able to confirm any amount. As stated earlier, i dont live in Ontario which is your province of destination. Alternatively, as you mentioned, you can check booking,com or expedia for flight fees +hotels in Ontario to give you an estimate. Doordash, Ubereat etc are popular food delivery agents in Canada. Check varieties of food vendors on thier sites and amounts they sell thier meals [You can filter for African food if you want] then do your maths mulplied by number of days to give you an estimate.

Finally, dont forget amount available for your stay in Canada should be significantly below your account balance. The question is speaking to budget for your trip. The higher your closing balance in proportion to budget for your trip, the better but cant confirm any amount to you. Since, i dont know your profile and history and wont want to give a misleading statement. I dont know the platform the VO use for exchange rate conversation. You can try Oanda Currency Converter, Exchange Rate Calculator etc

Persnally, i would say you retry those countries you had the previous refusals and get Approved then you come try Canada in future with a stronger profile. Refusals from thier two close allies would increase review scrutiny on you.

hmmmm I'm just confused and short of words 🤣. Uk deny me based on mistake which I can drop the refusal for review. But I will declare all the refusal. Us b1/b2 refused me 2017 when I started my business I tried to apply with no cash only 200k bal as of then I was naive then. Then I have not apply since till now. UK is my first time applying for UK tourist visa this June. So I have done all my calculation for my 11days trip both all expenses is 2.3m 700k so I sum all to be round figure 2.5m my budget. So where I'm confuses is how much will i have in my acct as closing bal is it 3.5m or 4m that's what I'm asking for those that know more of Canada. For my sister sponsor is like I will remove her if she is a red flag in sponsoring 34yrs like me😂. I will Full sponsor myself and try my luck.
Some one decieved me that canada is hard this that i for apply am first than wasting this huge amount in Uk. So thank you for the advice here i really really appreciate.

will closing bal of 5m work for the trip? My budget both flight, food, hotel and transportation for 11DAYS is 2.3m700k but I'm budgeting 2.5m Incase of any expenses.

She is new and supposed to be listening to people here maybe she wants to experience a first refusal first.

I remembered when I first applied for student for my wife using myself and her elder sister as sponsor she was refused. I attached a picture of my wife and her sister taken about 18 years ago with birth certificate showing blood relations.

Next time I just used myself and my wife alone and she got it.

If visa officer can frown on education assistant by siblings talk more about less important activity like vacation.

Let your sister send the money to you on time and let the money sit in your account for 4 months before applying. By so IRCC is not seeing that transfer.

Hi just to add to what u have been told if example you are putting your sister as your sponsor and her statement has $4k and she is given you 3k for sponsorship this is a red flag it wouldn't fly cos the VOs will expect that someone sponsoring another person for holiday should have over enough execpt you can prove that the impact of the holiday will affect your sponsor very very positively, of possible I will suggest you go through the advice already given and think it over before submission it's always good to get it right on POF in the first attempt ,
