Eriokanmi: So you genuinely believe that the thousands to millions of luxury watches out there that have probably been on sale since before black men began to enjoy success are being bought mostly by blacks? Lol. How many blacks are successful around the globe to sustain such market? That’s just wishful thinking. Lol. |

You have to thank God if you did not fall for this foolishness, those watches can not last for eternity they are man made, Imagine buying those watches and it fell down then a car climb it, it will break, incase of fire incidence it will burn. All these foolish ones buying those watches and over expensive things want to fill their emptiness of which they know that there is no satisfaction in this world, if you like buy everything in the whole 7 continent you will never fill that emptiness Solomon try at the end find out that all is vanity. Na why some rich people they repent after chasing all the luxury and try to get satisfaction and fill the craving but at the end the get no joy they seek. Contentment is the key nothing else. 1 Like |

free2ryhme:Who told you the rich are automatically damned to go to hell? Pray to God to give you wealth and put a stop to this mentality. My friend, it’s only a foolish rich man that would miss heaven because money makes life easier. With money, you can help others more easily. Now back to the subject, people who buy them do so for many reasons and one of such reasons is connection. You won’t believe the kind of doors and opportunities those watches would open for you from people who are familiar with them. Do you know why people put their kids in expensive schools when there are lots of cheaper government schools or the reason why contractors (in Abuja esp) use expensive vehicles in order to look presentable or why average and even some poor people tend to struggle to live in expensive neighborhoods? People do all these for connections. When you connect with the rich, your chances of becoming/remaining rich and wealthy will surely increase. So in a nut shell, use whatever suits your eleda (soul) if you have the money and stop hating on the people that are spending on themselves. People do so for various reasons and being rich doesn’t translate to hellfire damnation. |

I have never taken my 2k to buy a watch for myself. And I don't see myself buying one except maybe a smart watch. I have wall clock at home, I have the time in my car and finally my phone anytime anywhere. That makes a wrist watch entirely a fashion element. I'd rather wear a wrist band or chain. I have a few. |
