Denial is always an option. You mention Israel...well the Israelis could just as easily have claimed their soil isn't arid (despite clear evidence most of it is) and they could have chosen a different path...and the possible outcomes are anyone's guess.

Yesterday, I saw on a friend Status, one of the house representative member declaring how much he gets every month...I think the man is from the South West by his accent and I don't know the actual reason why he was declaring what he collects monthly right inside the assembly.....below is the list....salary 2.5M monthly, Wardrobe: 7.5M monthly, Newspaper: 1.2M, 7.9M Furniture monthly,621k, 248k, 828k, 631k...PA allowance....I got so sad and couldn't continue listing what the money was meant for again.....but all added together was in the range of 27M Naira monthly..
