In my town Arondizuogu during our masquerade festival, ikeji, masquerades only flog women in jean trousers, not even those on 3/4. Masquerades rarely flog ladies, their boyfriends just drop small money on the ground, as little as N100 or even N50. It's unheard of for masquerades to gather and flog a lady, especially one nt wearing jean trousers.
Our masquerades even just flog men. We have masquerades we call female masquerades that handle the ladies, those ones carry walking sticks.
We still have mischievous masquerades that waylay ladies on motorcycles and so, but not to flog innocent ladies in bush paths. Our masquerade police in my town will easily take this up because all the masquerades that participate in the festival are registered.
