FxMasterz: At least you now agree after seeing what the scriptures say that there must be those taking the lead and TEACHING others in Christianity {Hebrews 13:7, 17} i've proved to you now that your friends have nothing tangible against God's organization they're just rambling up and down this forum. As for the monopoly of teaching you need to know the duty of those chosen to lead God's organization so you won't be mixing things up! THEIR DUTY God is the Head of all when talking about pure worship so Jehovah give instructions to His Son which he passes to the chosen ones to pass in turn to the congregation that's the meaning of what Paul said: "But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God" 1Corinthians 11:3 The purpose of this arrangement is for God's people throughout the world to have the same line of thought regarding sacred service to God {John 17:20-23 compare to 1Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:3} this is what will make the fulfillment of Zephaniah 3:9 work perfectly among God's people. They are in charge of all the congregation arrangements regarding preaching and teaching work assigned to the church of Christ for the work to be carried out thoroughly and that nobody on this planet is left out without being witnessed to regarding the Good News of God's kingdom! Matthew 24:14 But this doesn't mean that they will not make any mistake since they are imperfect humans that's the import of the term "God's only begotten Son" only Jesus is the perfect teacher who can't err but as for humans they will err that's the import of Beroeans studying the scriptures {Act 17:11} to know how the chosen ones among the Jews should operate if you don't know their roles in God's arrangement then you will take offense when imperfection set in on their part. Do you think millions of Jews living in the first century who refuses to believe in Jesus don't have their own reasons? Of course they do but where they missed out is failure to ascertain the duty of the Christ at each point in time once you don't understand his mission and what he's supposed to do at the time of his coming surely you will take offense and kick against him! Matthew 11:6 So the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses have their own divine assignment at this time {Matthew 24:45} they are to feed the congregation of Christ and lead them into bearing thorough witness globally as disciples of Christ. Act 1:8 But if you're looking at what the churches of Christendom are setting up like schools, hospitals and so on you may be tempted to start asking why this organization is not doing the same since these things seems good to you yet there is no scriptural references saying the congregation of Christ will build schools and hospitals for the public. So my friend i'm not against you in anyway i just want you to know that the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses are doing exactly what the scriptures say the faithful slave will do in our time {Matthew 24:45} and it's normal for people who don't know their assignment to pick offense at what they do due to their mistakes which is peculiar to all imperfect servants of God from the beginning until now!  |

FxMasterz: Your desperation to prove the organization wrong is what's blurring your senses on this matter, according to Paul those going to heaven must die first and drop their physical bodies that's the import of flesh and blood that can't inherit the kingdom {1Corinthians 15:50} while many of them since the first century have been SLEEPING IN DEATH these ones will be resurrected first when the trumpet sound but the rest who are still alive must complete their earthly mission so that at the time they die they will not sleep in death like the rest who have died before the trumpet rather they will be transformed into spirits immediately they die. I'm a very humble person so leave that matter of humility i'm not like you who jumped into accusing someone falsely simply because he also accused you falsely i don't see myself as your teacher unless those who see that quality in me and i always tell them that they can be better than Maximus if they humbly study the Bible with God's people: Jehovah's Witnesses. The purpose of this thread is to help sincere and honest hearted individuals who may like to look critically into the case a church that declared that Jesus began ruling in heaven in the year 1914. In the first century the Jewish nation had the knowledge that the Christ or Messiah will come according to the calculation of their religious leaders and custodians of their laws! So there was this high expectations few years towards the ending of the last century (B.C.E) before Christ era and the beginning of Christ era (C.E) in fact two Judeans back then started acting like rebels gathering men to overthrow the Roman empire claiming they are the Christ the first was Theudas and another after him was Judas both were killed in the process {Act 5:36-36} Jesus of Nazareth later spoke of these two men that they were thieves and plunderers! John 10:8 But what happened to Jesus of Nazareth himself? Did the Jewish nation accepted him as the Messiah? What made the Jews rejected Jesus of Nazareth in the first century? To be continued... |

Jesus was born but the since he wasn't an ordinary child circumstances surrounding his birth later made critics to insult him calling him a bastard born of fornication {John 8:41} in fact these critics claimed that his real father must have been a Samaritan {John 8:48} all these came as a result of the circumstances surrounding his miraculous birth. These and many more were things the Jewish religious leaders back then was telling the Jews in the first century, when he grew up as a carpenter taking up the craft of his foster father most people who knew his beginning had been forgetting the whole story not until he went to meet his cousin John the baptist who was baptizing the Jews in river Jordan in preparation for the coming of the Christ. At first John hesitated to baptize Jesus saying he supposed to be baptized by Jesus and not the other way around {Matthew 3:14-15} but Jesus persisted so John baptized him and while coming out of the water John saw God's Holy Spirit landing on the head of Jesus then God spoke from heaven saying “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.” Matthew 3:17 All these were written by Jesus' friends so no Jewish historian outside Jesus' group of friends wrote anything about his life and ministry so do you think it could be easy for Jews living back then and millions of Jews around the world today to believe that this same Jesus of Nazareth was the promised Messiah? Well his disciples continued penning down all the things Jesus did during his life time and how they continued doing what he commanded them including prophecies regarding our time and their writings is what we know today as the New Testament! |

Jesus said a lot about his future disciples and how sincere individuals can IDENTIFY them. You may wonder why must Jesus emphasize so much on how to identify his disciples later when himself and his first century disciples are no longer around? Well it's because Jesus knew that Satan who is the enemy of God and His people will do whatever it takes to confuse even those having faith in God's promises! Matthew 24:24-25 So what can help sincere individuals to figure out the real disciples of Christ Jesus in our own time? Jesus said: “Be on the watch for the false prophets who come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? Likewise, every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit. A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. Every tree not producing fine fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. To analyze what Jesus said @ Matthew 7:15-20 we must first consider the work Jesus assigned to his disciples and what they're supposed to achieve with the work assigned to them. So any religion claiming they're followers of Christ but can't meet up with the goal surely is fake! The preaching and teaching work is what Jesus commissioned his disciples to carry out globally {Matthew 28:19-20 compared to Act 1:8} the purpose of the work is to gather all obedient humans throughout the earth under one umbrella so that they can form one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers {Isaiah 2:2-4 compare to Micah 4:1-3} therefore Jesus' real disciples must be peaceful people anywhere they may be found on this planet {Matthew 10:16} and people throughout the earth should acknowledge that they have love among themselves! John 13:34-35 |

MaxInDHouse: I'm a leader, and I teach. If you don't understand something, ask questions. I too receive teachings as well. So, stop using your understanding of my position to judge what I'm saying. Ask for clarifications instead. The Bible makes us know that Believers should converge together under a group of leaders to fellowship together and hear the word of God. The Bible also makes us understand that independent personal walk with God with constant revelation of scripture is important for spiritual growth. The teachings of leaders is not a replacement for personal revelation. Revelation is the only way through which the Father communicates with His children. This revelation is in two modes. Through the elders to all the children. And to each child personally. Even earthly fathers too communicate this way. A child that has no revelation in the Kingdom is a bastard. 1 Like |

Well in our language the word "SLEEP" means death until resurrection as the dead person is unconscious until he is awaken from sleep {John 11:11-14} so when Paul said all BORN AGAIN will not SLEEP he is talking about the time when Jesus has started ruling in heaven at that time any BORN AGAIN Christian will no longer remain unconscious in death rather they will be transformed immediately at their last breath. That's what he meant all BORN AGAIN Christians must drop the flesh and blood they carry about now which is their fleshy bodies and that's when they die! |
