The executive branch's dominance over other arms of government is a clear indication of authoritarianism, yet it seems to be met with apathy. I will continue to emphasize that this country is not a democracy, and never has been. It's akin to a military regime, and surprisingly, everyone seems to be okay with that.

When was the last time a citizen won a court case against the federal government? It's a near-impossible feat. Until we recognize the flaws in our leaders' governance and stop blindly supporting them based on party affiliation, religious ties, or tribal connections, we won't progress.

The fact that people actually voted Tinubu (an obviously corrupt typical politician), and still support him till today despite the widespread hardship, is baffling. It's a reflection of our own shortcomings as Nigerians. Nigerians are naturally intelligent, yet we often display a lack of wisdom and very low IQ when choosing leaders. It's a sad reality.

Our problem in this country is not entirely caused by our leaders, Nope! We the people are actually the source of our own problem.
