If not because of madness and backwardness at the same time, who should be talking about power disconnection in this age, like we are in 17th century? What happened to prepaid meter? Install prepaid meter for them, if the don't buy units, they don't use light, simple

They think it's ordinary citizen they are dealing with cheesy

Why illegally disconnect a light to the nations asset, you wan threaten national security be that na

Utility bill task force should learn to be civil and approach through legal means

A court order that mandates disconnection will not be disrespected.

My two cents wink
These are the citizens that want stable Electricity…. A court order before you pay your bill….Nigerians deserve Generators. The greatest problem of Nigeria is the citizens

Some air force personnel from the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, Bolade, Oshodi, have allegedly invaded the premises of critical power infrastructure in Lagos state, rough-handling them in the process and forcibly taking others away.

You sure say no be Fulani people invade that premises? Tomorrow now those stupid cowards from the sadwest go leave their slave masters and start to drag IPOB into the invading. Stupid people

The criminal DISCO's refused to install prepaid meters for customers so what do you expect ? We all know some of these meters trip off immediately you try to tamper with them so why not install them in all barracks then give them steady electricity they're looking for ? I have no sympathy for any DISCO staff arrested by these officers, their criminality has come back to haunt them

Only in the west.

It's even worse in the east. It seems you didn't have data just last month when Enugu state government ordered closure of Enugu Electricity distribution company in Enugu after Enugu government were issued disconnection notice(not even disconnected yet) for owing billions in debt.

Well, this is the average Igbo man mentality. They always behave as if they are the cleanest whereas they are even among the dirtiest. Too bad. You rushed to accuse us knowing fully well that it was some low level military boys that did the act but in your case, it was the governor who carried out the barbaric acts. Shame on you

In Abuja they have cut off electric of army, in lagos they have cut off electric of navy, and many government ministries cannot afford electricity.

If the government cannot afford to pay the new high prices , that means they want to kill the people.
There is only so much a nation can betray itself before things start to fall apart for everybody.

The problem is it's not that the authorities cannot afford to pay. These monies have been deducted from salaries of officers living in the official quarters. My uncle once lived in an official quarters. He also gside others were not being paid housing allowance and utility but as soon as he built his own house and moved out, those monies started coming in with his salary. The authorities have these money with them but as usual, corruption won't allow them to pay. Money wey no be them own.

Unfortunately, use or show of power does not generate power. They should pay their bills and they'll get power supply.

Voting a CRIMINAL like Tinubu into power may be the undoing of Nigeria.

LAWLESSNESS and abuse of power is now the order of the day.

This is the second time a government or its agencies have attacked power companies because they tefused to give them FREE power supply.

Worst thing about this is an AUDIT will easily reveal the HUGE AMOUNT of money allocated to pay the bills and how someone shifted it into his own private accounts.

It gets even worse when you realise the Air Force is the most USELESS arm of the Military in Nigeria. They DON'T do anything.

You are still crying after 13 months.

Get a GP tank to put your tears...
