Those are my calls for Q3, some of them haven't moved in price, so its still possible to get similar or even better entry. I'm particularly bullish on AIICO. Both on TA and fundamentals

What was the total dividend earned by the portfolio in 2023,?
Oga Emma.no take style dodge my post.Mention your present portfolio after rebalancing, lol.i need expo

Then on your dividend question. I don't see anything substantial as dividend from that portfolio. This has equally been my problem. This is why I started rebalancing my portfolio. You cannot have such portfolio and not get 10 - 15% cash flow frome it when fixed income is giving 20% plus yearly now. Then stock appreciation should now cover the remaining

I branched and looked at the NGSEBNK10
It appears set up for a minibull (maybe Q2 bull)
The daily candles have broken upwards into the cloud which is positive

On the weekly chart, it might be due to a rejection of the cloud on the weekly

First time I am seeing a positive news from agba... I love your honesty

Some ask for time frame. While some of us don't need timeframe, just be benevolent enough to share stocks in which you have identified "value". We'll do our due diligence. If you decide to add a timeframe, better. But, don't stop sharing the valuable tips and pointers. You didn't have to share them anyway.

Even though OGG does his own as a form of marketing, which is not bad in itself(Like he has pointed out, it takes effort to do the work required to arrive at those conclusions), any shared view here is not exclusively for anyone's satisfaction. Don't deprive those benefitting from them the privilege because it doesn't meet your criteria of a stock pick.

In my opinion, it’s managed very efficiently, similar to gtb. If they do reconstruction I’ll be happy, although I don’t think it’s needed at this time. Their PE is very low compared to peers, they make bastard revenue and their net profit is more than its market cap with a Q1’24 eps of 24 kobo. I’m also expecting some dividends (5%) in less than one month of holding. I can go on and on but you get the gist

I think I'm gonna be posting a snapshot of my portfolio at the start of each quarter cause that was the second b2b quarter of 40%+ returns. Also because streetinvestor is always mocking me for not dropping advise. That being said, i will never recommend anyone to invest in what i don't have stake in. DD advised as always.
Side note: I'm still upcoming so don't laugh at my portfolio. I have 45m in cash that i will use to average down if needed.

You dont have GTB? you need to look into it oh. Probably the cheapest stock on the NSE right now
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nosa2(m): 4:10am On Jul 02
Just did the numbers for VFD group and the EPS printed for Q1 is wrong. They printed N10.34 but the actual number is N2.07.

I just lost money on FCMB because of this sort of misleading numbers. I'm not doing it again.

Recapitalization makes short to medium term outlook for banking stocks hazy. While the picture of the way the exercise is going to take place is clearing the post recapitalization issues such as dilution effects are difficult to predict.

As of now, my 3.5 year old NGX portfolio balance stands at N125 million, following a profit of N110 million taken in April 2024. Additionally, I have investments in Mutual Funds and Money Market Funds worth N6 million. A portion of the profit was invested in the NYSE S&P 500 and the Magnificent 7. Currently, I'm holding a cash balance of N20 million, awaiting suitable investment opportunities, and $14,000 for S&P 500 additional investments. My NYSE portfolio has been active for less than 11 months. I sold all my holdings at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic and bought sewc heavily in NGX during same period

My Treasury Bill holdings are currently valued at N5 million, and my Bitcoin holdings are worth $6,000. You'll need a long-range lens to get a clear view of my NGX portfolio! I'll share a screenshot after rebalancing by September 2024.
I'm sharing this information to inspire others. I was deeply motivated by the investment philosophy of PA Emma and the veteran investor, Agbalowomeri.
I would humbly advise Agba to adopt the investment philosophy of not trying to time the market. Historically, time in the market outperforms timing the market. If we rely solely on PA Agba's charts to dictate our investment decisions in the NGX, we risk missing out on opportunities unless a pandemic, military coup, or natural disaster occurs, which no one can predict except God.

My first NGX portfolio was established in 2008, but I liquidated it and took a break from the market. I briefly returned in 2014, still struggling to grasp the market dynamics. In 2018, I started a new portfolio with just N5,000, with my index broker. Previously, I paid a 1.35% brokerage commission on all transactions with my two former brokers. However, I discovered my current index broker through an MCy post on this forum, and they charge a competitive 0.5% commission, aligning with my goal of operating a N1B portfolio by 2027, a vision I launched in 2020. I'm not sharing this to boast; rather, I'm acknowledging my blessings and expressing gratitude to God for each day of my life. Interestingly, if you were to meet me in person, you'd never guess that I'm worth over N100,000. I don't have social media accounts, but I'm active on the NL forum. I hope my story motivates someone out there.
I hope to be like Agbalowomeri and Pa Emma by joining the N1B portfolio gang holders. Lol

@Bovali, you're doing remarkably well! To avoid situations where your kids may ask you questions that you can't answer, I suggest you consider adding the Mag7 or S&P 500 NYSE to your portfolio. This would mitigate the constant forex losses in NGX and possibly beat future devaluation of Naira and ravaging global inflation.

@Veterans Nosa2, you can't quit VFDGROUP! This group is destined for success. I haven't seen clearer or better financial reports from any listed company than VFDGROUP's. Be like a farmer - a seed planted in VFDGROUP may surely yield a bountiful harvest. Unlike some listed companies where the winner takes all, VFDGROUP's objective seems to prioritize investors' interests in their plans, indicating a more inclusive and sustainable approach to business.
They surely had a bad 2023 for the first time in their history.

Given the current market environment, VFD group is well priced at best. There is no bargain there

This fear is irrational. You are buying the business as it stands. And as it stands its a very good company selling at a ridiculously cheap price.
