Up here is an example of a typical black man's mentality. This is an example of how religion eats away at the brain of a typical black man.

Many of those who made this statement, some don kpai. Some are the same people creating posts and begging diasporans like this op. Others, in their old comments, they were boasting about how only they and their family are insulated from economic hardship because they probably have a "special" way they connect to their invisible god.

This individualistic or close-unit familial mindset is one reason why the country is where it is today. The socalled stup!d celebrities don't care about others because they and their family do not "beg to eat". Same thing for politicians.

Even during the endsars, there were those who earned money online by doing remote work and because of this, they didnt feel the need to involve in the protest. This is the most backwards mentality of the black man. They dont know that a working society is far better than an individual milestone.

You travel abroad to sane countries because the society works. Crime is on a low so you do not bother about erecting huge walls, electrifiying your fences or hiring security guard to protect your home. In nigeria, you make money but you create a huge fence, put broken bottles on your fence, add 2 iron doors, dash in and out.

You are only as rich as your outer society. You are only as free as the outer society. If you live in the midst of mad people, foreigners will regard you as mad. Even if you speak coherently, they will but brand your madness as posh.

Reason. You are not more special than those who have said these words and are now begging and hassling people on whatsapp and extended family members. OP was probably saying things like you 3 years ago. Let's see what you may say 3 years after.

Fantastic submission. Especially the bolded.

Nigerians abroad, PLEASE kindly help your fellow Nigerians back home. The situation in the country right now is so bad that the majority of Nigerians cannot even afford one square meal. I'm not talking about a proper square meal. I'm talking about anything to hold their stomach, they can't afford.

Parents are becoming suicidal and children are dying already.

If you watch the woman in this video, you will understand what most Nigerians are going through including myself.

Yesterday, I ate food that even the dogs of some people cannot eat. Dogs of the rich now eat better food than some Nigerians.

Please and please again, I know it's not easy anywhere but it's really bad back in Nigeria. Help Nigerians whether you know the person personally or not. We are dying. Hunger is killing us. Families are selling kids to feed others. Most of us didn't vote for Tinubu, but here we find ourselves.

Remain blessed as you extend your hand of help to hungry Nigerians back home. It's not what we bargain for. We just found ourselves here.

After I saw the tribalism on display during election campaign, I cannot pity any Nigerian again. We deserve the leaders we have.

Most jobs here in uk to be precise are care work which is somehow like giving care to elderly..assisting in washing, preparing meal, cleaning and changing of nappies.

Nurses.. Working in hospitals

Then factory work where u work as unskilled workers.. This is for the strong because it's standing

Security...nighy watch

Carpenters, plumbing etc hand work

Office jobs are few and are mostly occupied by the British or those who knows their system and ascent... Like bank work, mangers etc.

Note that UK don't produce much.. They import shoes, cloths, electronics etc from China and Co but healthcare give it to UK
That's false.

Nigerians are well represented in every sector.

We recall vividly warning from Pastor David Ibiyemo & some others about ensuing dire consequences should BAT be "allowed/rigged" in.

We're beginning to believe that nobody cheats or steals from Mr Peter Obi & goes scot-free; it's like righteous justice/judgment until restitution is done!

But The Courts failed to do this. Guz: this is just year1 we're talking abt... I wanted to say I swear b4 y2, interventions by any means necessary or by all cost go show!

Guz: People are hungry, being killed by famine & terrorists, yet APC & co are mercilessly milking the country! Where's the balance abi sacrifice?

Here nothing like that, person can carry diseased meat enter market to sell. Food under this bloody regime economy is now becoming gold. And Nigerians have refused to hit the streets in protest.

Not all Nigerians abroad are living very fine. Some are doing fine. Some are suffering too. Others are major supporters of this govt.

First time in the UK with a pal, guess what he said: “it is better to pity Nigerians from abroad.”

He was right asf..

If you were there, you’d never want to fly back to hell🔥 because you'd realise that you are in the paradise they preached about and the God you pray to do not reside in Africa at all.

Know the worse part? When you return, everything for the country go just dey vex you.

My candid advise to those planning to depend on another (home or abroad) is to devise their income, set up small scale businesses and cut costs. A lot of people abroad have more than enough responsibilities to take care of and nobody cares because people back home feel they pluck money on trees over there.

Once you travel abroad, anyone back home who asks you for money and you give excuses, they won't understand you do not have or that you have many responsibilities there to take care of. They will simply conclude that “...upon you stay in Canada...or stay in the UK...or in the US...you do not want to help...while you are out there working your arses out.”

Those abroad also need help.

Folks in Nigeria need to be considerate.

Some abroad live paycheck to paycheck, and those in Nigeria are not aware of the scarifices they make to send them money.

Folks in Nigeria need to ask for funds when they really need it; not because "I wan chop your money". Also, they need to give advanced notice. You cannot suddenly ask someone abroad for money for matters as rent and school fees thinking he has money lying somewhere and waiting for you to ask.

Many of them budget, and if someone is not within a budget, he cannot be squeezed in just like that.

And when the abroadian tells you things are tight, reach out to him/her to offer comfort once in a while. It is unhelpful for a person to think you only remember him when you want to bill him.

Many Nigerians make a list of people they bill on a monthly basis. Even if you give them little, they express shameless ingratitude.

Finally, many in Nigeria are doing better than those abroad. The family support system they have in Nigeria is something that is a treasure abroad. It is beacuse of this vacuum that some people become gay or join bad gangs: they need company.

Going forward, stop putting pressure on abroadians. You see that your 25k bill, he'd need to spend ten times that for the same purpose where he is.

For friends back home, I try to engage them in their crafts, some are making furnitures for me, some are doing some IT designs for me, while I have one helping to build. I pay them well above their quotation as a way of helping them. Thats the little we can do, but one thing I noticed is that a lot seems to be dubious, while some also prefer the free money rather than wanting to be engage.
God bless you, your type is rare, please don't stop to support them in a little way most especially the grateful and non dubious ones, moreso I'm into herbs and farming too, I can be your plug for potent herbs, for you and your friends overthere,Thank you.

Lol, I mean... Okay, i felt nl is a bit too anonymous and if you're one that wishes to make a journal of your lifestyle, I was thinking a snapshot would pro'lly be better. I think just a few days ago, someone did a diary detailing how he biked all the way from his home to the niagara waterfalls in Canada.

But yours seems to be incremental and consistent. I was thinking maybe a Youtube channel is a better alternative. I may be wrong -- and again, its possible you're doing that already. I am not very sure nl ensures proper connection to the right audience and neither does it allow native video functionality...which makes sense for lifestyle stuff right? Pics may not be enough.

As for politics, sis, pls, I'd fumble at it. I never want to lead; I'm just hardwired that way I guess. Even at workplace, I do not show intention to become a leader or scheme to become a supervisor like some others (which is not bad). I tell my friends how followership is just as important as leadership, if not more. Holding the mantle is but for a few. How followers think and organise ensures the success or failure of leaders for the most part.

-Much as I know that the Economic System is not the best, the question is -•what happens to those your Past Leaders ( the past Military- Abacha and Co,
-the Senators+ House of Reps+ State Assembly Members+ Ministers+ Head -of Departments+ Governors- who reduced the States to nothing, despite of Huge Allocations or how did these governors ends up having Multi NBILLIONS- Dollars ,in their Accounts?
-And many Traditional Rulers+ Religion Leaders, are also Involved
Just answer Nigerians.
We cannot afford to do same things since Independence in 1960,yet no Progress but just Lips- Service, while Your leaders go to Dubai,London,New York to Waste the Nigerian Resources, after Lootings.
-All the Party Leaders In Nigeria Today, are $Dollar- Billionaires!
So Una don Waste Money ,since ! Just make Una de collect- whatever you Sow,you reap!
•-Nigeria Refused to be Producers,we cannot continue to be Only Consumers Of Goods alone( Buying and Selling) Is Not an Economy- Nigeria Must be Productive - Corruption in DISCOS - No Light, NNPC - No Refineries( Fuel)- when Corruption is on increase!
Why can't we Produce anything - for God has Blessed this Country.
The Present Tinubu Govt should stop Politics and show more assertions on the many areas affecting the Ordinary Lives in Nigeria e g why can't you use same authority to bring Foods, into Nigeria ( without Paying Tax,at the Ports) same way he is asking the Pharmacy Companies to bring/ Import Medicine into the Country - without paying Taxes- so as to make it Cheaper for the Masses.
-Why has he not terminate some Ministers - who are not Performing, for many are just in the Federal and States Ministries - doing Nothing!
-Why has he not find someone liable in Min of Poverty Alieviation, despite the Corruption there- must w continue to play Politics with everything in Nigeria?
These are the Reasons - why the Japa Syndrome is non- abated because the Youths have no Jobs,No Light in their home,No Infrastructures facilities and how do you want to Convince them - without Food on their Tables, neither do they have Houses or Landed Properties or Any investments!
•Meanwhile, the North - on their own Volition - deliberately introduced Boko-Haram ( Terrorists, Kidnappers, Criminals during OBJ, thinking they are helping themselves,so they should be the one who must destroyed it!
