Some ignorant people will still accuse them of brain drain. Meanwhile almost all the western countries are tightening immigration.

Firstly, they don't procreate enough to sustainably maintain the country in its vastness, so they need immigrants.

Secondly, all of them are immigrants, they only came earlier. Its like going into a hall of food uninvited and shutting the door after you. Thats being selfish.

Lastly, international law would not allow outright ban of specific countries, that would be discrimination

If I were a president I doubt I would allow many Nigerians to come into my country. But since I can't openly say that Nigerians cannot come, the next best thing would be to raise the visa and other fees so high that only the extremely wealthy can afford it.

Advanced countries are increasingly tightening their immigration laws to make it extremely difficult for people from third-world countries to migrate and settle in their countries.

If not that many Nigerians have sworn to be unfortunate by constantly voting for and defending old incompetent politicians, why would anyone want to leave a beautiful country like Nigeria and relocate to a fridge like "Australalia"?

Australia fridge?

Probably you meant Canada.
Australia still has good weather.

Once Trump gets elected in in the US and conservatives kick out Trudeau which is now become very glaring, those two countries will follow Australia's lead as well.

In France, the far right conservatives almost won the last time and are now on track to win the next election.

Economies are getting tougher and immigration are usually the first scale goat that gets the blame

Sadly those extremely wealthy can always afford, not just the countries for education, but any other country of choice that they choose to buy their passports. Bottom line, the poor remains at the lowest rung and continues to be trampled upon. Solution? Fix Nigeria. How? I don't even have a clue. The youths are busy on instagram and tick-tock with saidaboj and very dark man being their sole subject all day round.

Nigeria cannot be fixed by the current crop of politicians. So we may have to wait for another 15-20yrs

Nice one by Australia.Let them stay back in their countries and work to make them better.
But I hope this is targeted more at Nigerians, since we have vowed never to eschew tribalism and religious bigotry in election of competent and proactive leaders.
Rather we keep repeating the same mistake of yesterday: electing bad leadership.
I wish US, Canada, UK and many others would equally do same and target Nigeria more.
Nonsense!

That will be the cycle of another set of youths who may not even have a country to fix. It looks bleak.

The issue is that many Nigerians are poor and just want to survive . Politicians have weaponized this . The enlightened ones in Nigeria are few and atimes they just lose hope and relocate . No matter what you say or shout , people will still collect indomie or 500 naira to vote in incompetent leaders.

Lastly , you can only vote what the parties present to you. How will you get quality candidates when the party primaries are a β€œwho can spend the most” extravaganza?

Tinubu - alleged dollar spree
Atiku- alleged dollar spree
Obi - Just walked into a party and gets the mandate.

We don’t have any leader that is worth it in this country

Believe it or not, Trump won't beat Biden; you can quote me when he does. Meanwhile, Biden has promised to regularise the stay of all illegal immigrants in the US the moment he wins the next election.
