Werey
If you say we that voted your nightmare Emilokan JAGABAN voted based on ethnic and religious sentiments, what sentiments did Igbos used to vote Bitter Hero Beer Obituary? Drugs trafficking and baby factory sentiments or fake drugs sentiments?

If Nigerians decides to vote based on religion, a Christian will never ever occupy any of the the first 20 positions in this country
What are you population to christain that made you say Christian won't get the first 20 positions. Mind you, Igbos don't vote on ethnicity but on merits, they would have gladly voted for someone like Osinbajo if he was there.

That is the issue with the UK - a low manufacturing base. This means the good or okay jobs aren't enough to go around the natives let alone immigrants. Even the pharmaceutical industry isn't that strong. The tech sector nko? Also, with English as the national language, one gets many competitors everywhere.

I can imagine the situation.

Emmm the job issue is not really the problem as their are low unskilled jobs one can do if one have neccessary first UK experience like in care, security SIA, carpenter etc.. One can find a place within a year... I said within a year one can find if no restrictions on visa.
But when u come with student visa one face lots of limitations and also u have just 12 months no time

You can't keep insulting people's tribe, culture and values everyday and preach unity and support for your candidate few months to election, most Obidients are core tribalists and lack moral standing to accuse others of same.

By the way, to set the records straight, the build up to 1999 election clearly showed Igbos don't want a Yoruba man as president even though the Northerners thought it's the best way to pacify the west after the Abiola's saga, Igbos in those parties contested in primaries. Yorubas eventually won the primaries of the two major parties and the main election was a Yoruba man against a Yoruba man (Obasanjo vs Olu Falae). Igbos voted Tofa, a Kano man against Abiola in 1993 and even protested against Abiola's mandate.

Let's see the presidential result of 1999 and 2003 even in 2003 when ojukwu contested

Can you get them via states or geopolitical region? Or should I get them for you?

Party determines who they forward as flag bearer.

The kind of poverty thread Nairaland loves to promote. Nobody abroad owes you anything. Get a means of living and face it. At worst, enter the farm.

A recent UK phenomenon. Or is it also the same with previous Nigerian migrants living in the country? Those from 2005 - 2015.

Most Nigerians have seen that came 10 to 15 years ago.. Are mostly carears... Mental nurse.... Working in health sector.

Hardly see them in finance, government ministry etc

Through taxes, through immigration etc.
E.g if u are working u pay 20% to government every month. Pay for council tax also.
Their government managed their resources and are accountable to the people that's what I see here.

What did Kenya do to Ruto? Is Ruto the owner of the shops and buildings looted or the cars burned? Was Ruto killed? Is he in the hospital or prison? Did Ruto lose his job or family members? Is Ruto going to get less pay or no pay? Do you think it's Ruto's bank account or money that will be used to rebuild the billions of dollars worth property that was destroyed and stolen? What exactly is your hallucination about Ruto?

They forced Ruto to reverse some tax policies that would impact the majority. When the Kenyan government is prepared to cut wasteful government spending, it can then impose strict economic policies on the masses.

If you were there, you’d never want to fly back to hell🔥 because you'd realise that you are in the paradise they preached about and the God you pray to do not reside in Africa at all.

Know the worse part? When you return, everything for the country go just dey vex you.

My candid advise to those planning to depend on another (home or abroad) is to devise their income, set up small scale businesses and cut costs. A lot of people abroad have more than enough responsibilities to take care of and nobody cares because people back home feel they pluck money on trees over there.

Once you travel abroad, anyone back home who asks you for money and you give excuses, they won't understand you do not have or that you have many responsibilities there to take care of. They will simply conclude that “...upon you stay in Canada...or stay in the UK...or in the US...you do not want to help...while you are out there working your arses out.”

On the other hand, Tinubu has relaxed many tax policies and levies since he came on board. Zero tariffs, excise duties and VAT on imported pharmaceutical inputs. Suspension of a newly introduced 10 percent tax on single-use plastics, suspension of the 5% Excise Tax on telecommunication services, suspension of import duties and VAT on certain goods to tackle food inflation, among others. Nobody forced him to do these, he used his own brain and sympathy.
Like i asked, but you were ashamed to answer, what happens to all the jobs lost by the senseless looting in Kenya? What happens to the over 20 lives lost? What happens to all the damaged infrastructure, and the millions of dollars worth of loss? Who do you think will pay?
Do you know that the Kenyan government would have to borrow another $7.7 billion because of the decision to drop the finance bill?
Watch Ruto listing some of the upcoming punishment for his citizens. Be careful what you wish for.

She's defeated. A typical defeated black man or woman reasons this way. Because they are so mentally conquered to enact justice on their wicked rulers, they would resolve to sentiments and start using swears and curse for an invisble god to punish them.

I don't know when they will rise above sentiments. All their wicked rulers are sending their children to schools of working societies right in front of black man eye o. In fact, these wicked rulers are positioning their kids already to continue the mantle from where they stopped abi is it not in front of our very eye that El rufai son don be house of assembly member or something?

Black man problem just many.

Here's summary of it all.

All their children who are studying abroad will come back in the future to take up political positions.
Some are also building their networks through marriages

If they don’t produce much
And I guess they don’t really have much naturally resources

So how do they make money? And continue to be a first world country?

BigDawsNet:

Thanks for the response

Don't let 004gist deceive you...

They make money through owning businesses or having shares in some businesses..

And they also make money from exploiting other countries like through iELTS, visa rejections, S:hell petroleum company, B:ritish airways e.t.c

Some weeks ago, T:otal oil company signed a deal with Congo where Congo only gets 15% from the deal...

They also have a strong currency..

BigDawsNet is asking how they make money...

whether it is internal or external earnings does not matter.....

A thread on front page says Australia makes over $36billion annually from immigrant students alone and this does not include rejected applications...

and I did not include how much B:ritain makes from immigrant students...

I don't feel any pity or sympathy for the woman or any other Nigerian facing financial difficulties at this time since we often are not sincere in our lamentation. Look at the woman name calling and shedding crocodile tears, politicising the issue as if poverty started today in Nigeria. Poverty didn't start today and will continue into the foreseeable future if we keep believing the politicians are the cause of our poverty when in actual fact they're only a beneficiary.

The question we should be asking is...
1. How many of the likes of the woman in that video became poor due to actions that can be directly linked to politicians? Yes, there are people who lost their jobs and businesses that shutdown temporarily or permanently due to the current economic policies of the government of the day but is exception the rule?
2. What does the likes of this woman want the government to do at this time - to start sharing money, food or jobs? Is this sustainable? Are they aware of our population? How many persons can the government employ? Does the lot of these people have skills, education, or job experience that makes them employable or makes them candidate for high-paying jobs? When they earn the money, what kind of lifestyle are they leading - is it one of where someone who earns less than 100k has two wives, seven kids, retinue of sidechicks, and who also drinks? Do you know what it takes to feed two mouth in the current economy not to talk of six or seven? You will even be surprised when you hear that your beneficiary just gave birth to their fifth child when you the benefactor only have two kids.
You guys should hold on tight to your stupid belief of no family planning, hold on to your stupid belief of "children are a gift from God." You guys should keep living your lives without accountability and be looking for a relative abroad or politician to blame or bail you. Nobody owes anybody and if politicians who are known to be idiots the world over are the ones you're building your life around, then that is fine, too.
