How do one even conceptualise this level of corruption, it seems the only saint in this country are the thieves, do you know what this amount of money could have done for us in this country? What do they even want to use that amount of money for? The funniest thing is that a very high percentage of these monies in those offshore accounts will be forgotten and taken over by these foreign countries. This is more than pathetic to say the least. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Major issues we have in this country is that people appointed to perform some duties are not independent of the forces of corruption. EFCC and ICPC should not be reporting to anyone. Not, the president, not the the attorney general, nobody. I only blame people who thinks someone somewhere is more capable of turning situations around in Nigeria. If we don't retrace our steps and go back in time to when we got things right, every successive government would be than the former, regardless of who's the president. Nigeria was doing better than more than 70% of the countries of the at independence, including all the Asians Tigers. How many years along the line and we're 500years behind? I personally think the 1966 coup was a grave mistake and we should take things back to how they were before that point in time. |
