izzou: he needs to start by watching shows featuring public defenders who just want to close his case out in 10 minutes and move on to the next after OJ's case some people were talking to their lawyers about an OJ style defense until it was explained to them that OJ went bankrupt paying his dream team their legal fees. |

https://www.nairaland.com/8141929/stop-using-name-ex-husband-alison-madueke Rear Admiral Alison Amaechina Madueke has petitioned the court for an injunction restraining his ex-wife, Diezani Alison-Madueke, from using his first name (Alison) and surname. Interesting. I always assumed that the Alison was her maiden name Though I remember an exact case Like this when the daughter of an ex milad always wrote her father's full name as her surname. I guess it is a Nigerian version of do you know who my husband/father is. Draco luscius malfoy.

izzou: Most people think going to police station and getting released is the same thing as going to court and getting released. Most times sef police is doing u a huge favour by keeping u in their cell. The moment they take u to court and the judge has reason to have u remanded and the case adjourned, u just start a new journey niyen o. The next court date may not be until 3-4months time the duration of which u will be at the mercy of prison wardens who will take u to prison immediately after adjournment . When the date of adjournment comes, if ur people don't go to the IPO in charge of ur case to mobilize him with funds to come to court, u will see another problem. Ur people will also have to pay the prison wardens to bring u to court. If the IPO is not present in court, ur case will be adjourned again and u will be taken back to prison .At that point u will realize u are at the mercy of both Nigerian correctional services officer and the IPO in charge of ur case in the police station. The police know this, that is why they always raise the bar high for bribes to allow u walk while still with them That is how a lot of people have been on "awaiting trial" for years. 1 Like |

BlueRayDick: Very true. People just think that Nigerian Prisons are like the American movies; Two in a room, Bunk bed, clean clothes, Tray with meals...etc. Even while in prison, for you to even have some resemblance of "good living condition", you go spend monthly. I know one guy that just came back from Kirikiri while his case was been adjourned. His family paid more than 200k so he can eat something reasonable and sleep in a "not so poor" place. Police detain you for 4 days, you dey find court. |

Izzou (others with experience) howfar I need your advice on this. We are trying to install this solar inverter system in our home. Dyque 10kw system 24 kW battery (3 batteries) 40 units of 575watts longi crystalline half cut solar panels. The price estimate we are getting is 25m for it. Do you know if the company (IG Energy) is good and the price is worth it? |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:28pm On Jul 02 |
The suspect who claimed he was recruited into drug trafficking by one of his relatives eventually passed out a total of 80 wraps of cocaine weighing 889 grams through his mouth and anus over a period of four days. The great risk that almost took his life notwithstanding, Ogbonna said he was given the drugs to swallow at a hotel in Ipodo area of Ikeja with a promise to reward him with N300,000 cash if he successfully delivers the consignment in India. This guy had better be lying. Or he was born daft and stupid. |

liveLongNprospa: https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-fta Make your enquiries on this thread. They may be able to provide more guidance and guide you to a known quantity. I would have recommended felicity solar but that is based on research and not as an end user |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:42pm On Jul 02 |
liveLongNprospa: I actually don't know what tte market prices are saying I don't know Dyque, but i know Longi is a good panel. Also, i no sabi IG Energy, but i can direct you to a guy that is good, and maybe you can compare quotes

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 2:56pm On Jul 02 |
GloriousGbola: The person said the longi is better than the felicity. The felicity is about 40k cheaper than the longi for the same size of panels. Thanks for the suggestion. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 2:57pm On Jul 02 |
izzou: That would be appreciated. And thanks for the help🙏 |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 3:04pm On Jul 02 |
liveLongNprospa: the reason i recommended felicity is because they are an actual company with extensive presence in nigeria/west africa they actually have an office around okota with a complete repair shop. which would imply that you have access to competent after sales service. a lot of products sold do not actually exist - you google them and you come up with nothing outside of konga or jumia sales we were looking at entering into some sort of partnership with them but they were clear, we have our hands full i have however not actually used them so i cannot say how this works out in reality. a search of longi shows that they are also a chinese company though they dont have any african footprint. this should not be an issue for you since solar panels only require cleaning the figure seems very high. maybe you can post a screenshot of the quotation. |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by FEGEITOK: 3:34pm On Jul 02 |
liveLongNprospa: Longi or Jinko or Canadian Solar panels. Felicity may be good with inverters but I doubt their panels have the reputation of the ones I listed above. You want panels that will give you nameplate wattage or close to or more for the whole time of your ownership not panels that will drastically drop performance 3 to 5 years later. That cannot be said of Felicity panels at the moment but that can be said of the former |
