I would have stick to topping up the oil but then, I can't be buying 1 litre of oil every 2 weeks, that expense is too expensive.

Using a 2006 corrolla before. It displayed same symptoms. Shortening of oil . 2weeks for 1 litre. But I don't mind.
If I can eat 2k in a day. Why can't the car eat extra 4k in 2 weeks.
I have been on that module for over 2 years. Car is as silent as ever.

Check for the seal @ the pulley and the seal between the gear and the engine body.
Especially the middle one.

I use hardex . Its 30k. n I drain my oil every month.
Some folks will say it's full synthetic. I tell them, that's Bullshit. Once you do 2500-3000km on the car, you should drain the oil. If you are into ehailing full-time, in a month, you will clock in 2500-3000km @ the minimum

1 litre is about 3k+ now, I think 3700 or thereabout,, that's expensive spending that twice in a month after buying 16k+ 5litre oil...

I know you're joking, i don't think he means 2k food in a whole day, guess he's saying a square meal in a day.

I roughly manage 7k to eat in a day and this is eating on a budget...

What is expensive about that? Let me ask you a question. How much is everything if you calculate it.?
16k,+ 8k..

Let's say 25k.. in a month . You call that expensive.?

That's like 850 naira daily debit timer on Opay account.
Very negligible expense, if you'd ask me.

You might be mulling the idea of opening your Engine. grin. Don't try it.
A corrolla engine hovers around 800k+.

If an extra 8k monthly. on oil that's like 96k yearly. Compared to looking for a new tokunbo engine.

96k versus 800k. cool

The better choice is obvious to everyone.

Boss say no more, you cant convince me. Dispatch riders are aliens. They have plot of lands beside stanbic bank headquarter with zero worries.

Highest I can do is when I see anybody selling for bricklayers. I park car and join the party. Rice 300, yam 200, mix Ponmo and meat, bread and use 7up to wash it down. I can drive for 2 days uninterrupted.

If there’s no visible leakage and all the experiments are not working. Best is to keep topping. If the exhaust is already showing excess carbon burn. We all know the direction it will end. After servicing, I top mine with a ltr before next service, but chairman seems to be taking 2 now. I don’t need soothsayer to tell me anything again.

Pope, i know you are joking , it's not everyday .. eating out is expensive no doubt. But I'm very careful , cos food sellers in a bid to sell cheap stuff, will go n buy the dregs of pepper ingredients ..
I'd rather spend on food than buy drugs.

Good. Water is the best. Mine is malt, I cant barely go a day without one. I have already down one today and fighting it should just be all for the day. Use to stuff fridge with cookies, groundnuts and malt, but I have to stop. Once I’m home seeing movies, nothing rest 😂 unless I’m asleep.

My concern about eating outside. Where they source ingredients from.

Better be topping the oil. If your engine is still sounding good, maintain that pressure cos the moment u open it up to re-ring it, and it's not properly done then say good bye to that engine. Corolla engine is almost 1m
The solution is to rering it and change valve seals. But must be done by a highly professional mechanic who will use original quality parts.

Your odometer is actually in miles. So if u are targeting 3,000km then I are wasting your money on oil cos it means u will be changing oil at about 2,000miles. 6,000miles is the recommended oil change.
My car automatically indicates "maintenance required" at 5,000 miles. If u are using 5w30 oil, then 5,000 miles is okay for servicing. It's even better that the car gets fresh top ups before next service. meaning u get a little fresher oil than the car that's not chopping oil and will not get fresh top up until next service.
