The FG should enter into a political negotiation with Nnamdi Kanu just like America did recently with Julian Assange for espionage knowing that the impact of keeping him locked up is more than having him released based on certain agreed conditions.

It will be a great disservice to release Nnamidi Kanu this time around. IPOB/ ESN he created has not shown any remorse to warrant such negotiation. Government cannot negotiated from weak side as some people claim that Nnamidi kanu release will return normalcy to south east. Another big issue is that FG may have problem with security agencies if Nnamidi kanu is released, they have lost several of their men to the idiot activities.

I think everyone should start advocating for release of all those convicted criminals in correctional facilities across the country since some people have no regard for rule of law.

They can't push for end of sit at home every Mondays in their SE region but can convene meeting to demand for Kanu's release.. Y'all can't force the hand of the President to go against the constitution of Nigeria.. any matter in court can't be interfered with.

It's even dangerous for the President to grant their request as he'd be setting a precedence for other Presidents to come to undermine our judiciary and be setting those with terrorism and treasonable felony charges against them free.. that's a recipe for Nigeria's doom.

It's because of those insecurity happening in Imo and Abia that we as Igbos have to make sure that Nnamdi Kanu dies. He is a threat to the existential survival of the Igbos in Nigeria.
