Sometimes I wonder if Jarus is a teenager or a proper adult.

The DV case is one that should be investigated thoroughly and if found guilty, made to pay the price. DV is totally unacceptable.

Aside from that, I hope the guy gets some good people to sit him down and talk to him, he talks too much, loves the clout and showing off unnecessarily.

Has a lot of growing up to do.

Seriously seun, this should not be on the front page as the news is not even confirmed yet. Inviting someone does not amount to arrest. The least you can do for a friend who has contributed significantly to the growth of this forum is to show support in moment like this and not tarnish his image further by rushing to push this post to Nairaland front page.

Overall, Jarus should blame himself for this. No amount of provocation should have made him post on social media that he had been beating his wife. No matter what, there are things you should not say on social media. Hopefully, lessons will be learnt and this unfortunate phase of his life will pass. Again, men should seriously stay away from a second wife. A discreet side chick is far better than taking a second wife. One wife is enough trouble, stop looking for double trouble in a second wife.

my brother to beat your wife is not good but not to beat at all occasionally is worse,,women has this ability to test the patience and endurance of a man to the elastic limits,I really don't blame who gives her wife the odd black eyes,it is a cumulative result of all the pent up anger a man is bottling up and controlling his self control for long to yet be the gentleman,they will continue to prod and cajol you until you snap,and if you still restrain yourself they will grab your balls one morning and announced you will not go anywhere,now my brother peace advocate how do you handle that if not with a couple of hot slaps

I mean!

How do you "buy your wife" into agreeing with you in a lifestyle that will bring trouble into your own home eventually? Even if its your wife advising you to marry the second wife, its you that ought to talk her back into her senses that Ifa says "okan soso lobinrin dunmo nile oko" and "orisa je ng pe meji obinrin ko si".

I'm not saying I'm perfect or there is a perfect man out there that doesn't have their weak moment, just don't justify it. say no and stay strong, avoid events or situations that can compromise your home, even if you are free to do anything and no one can convict you. you just convict yourself and be a good example.

We are free moral agents, don't allow religion to make you run your life anyhow. When your children grow older and are in their own time have to make a choice, they will think twice before bringing any stupid story home for you, because they know you have antecedent. your wife is a partner to help you build your life.

Use your wife to crush unnecessary libido that bring headache.
