Willie2015:You have a good point, but Nigeria is not rich. Rail project is always expensive. We're already heavily indebted by Buhari's rail project. Money they should've invested in power. |

Willie2015:Rail is never cheaper...it is just another way to enrich the white. Most of what we need for road construction are readily available in our locality and so we should stop engaging in unnecessary rail construction. |

ebenholer: Try and read up.. Rails is cheaper.... Its a self generating project... Cos it can pay for its bills... For example.. the Lagos Blue line transported.... over 1 million passengers in 219 days ... It help the Agric value chain by moving goods easily and cheaper... Moving agric products from Sokoto to Lagos will take some hours.... Movt of labor also become easier... ; I can reside in Kaduna and work in Abuja... If we have good rail network ... No one will give a damn whether they remove fuel subsidy or not.... If fuel per litre reach N1000 .... most folks will park their car |

PressMyButton: You understand the politics.. Atiku criticizing a trans-sahara super highway in the North will be the end of his political career. The other 'gbaju e' man knows nothing atal about politics in Nigeria.. just one mediocre with massive support from fellow mediocres. PBAT has set compass for 2027.. let's see if Northern politicians will condemn a superhighway that'll boost investment and rapidly open up Northern States for economic development. |
Re: Tinubu Orders Ministers To Source Funds For Trans-Sahara Superhighway by caye(m): 10:23am On Jul 04 |
THE REAL GOALS OF THE TRANS -SAHARAN SUPER HIGHWAY * you may not believe it. I myself prays that it is false. Remember that prominent members of Arewa have insisted that if Nigeria separates today, some key areas of Yorubaland MUST BE GIVEN TO THEM: - Ilorin & possibly the whole of Kwara state - (5?) nautical miles from the Lagos ports to the north MUST ALSO BE SURRENDERED by the Yoruba's, so that north can import and exoort freely; baringbwhich if the Yoruba's refuse, it would have to be settled in another fashion. Note:- there is a route that passes from lagos---> Niger state--> kebbi state. It had been abandoned since the early 70s or 80s). They want access to the sea, or ..... Seems the north is massively preparing for the coming biggest event in Nigeria ( let the reader understand). They may want to put Nigeria quickly into massive debt, so as to quickly build their own infrastructure and their much needed war chest ( or war portmanteau). A nation that is paying perpetual debt interests every year to the tune of 90%of their GDP, does that nation needs such massive capital projests, which plunges the citizens deeoer into the misery of the white supremacists debt trap? |
