Debymayor: I just saw your mention. I have been off nairaland and social media for a while. I have been in Uk for 2years plus and no longer have update on Canada and Australia immigration. I hope someone has answered your questions. Reading through my post that you quoted, i am surprised that i did write such long insightful posts. I miss days that i was always on my phone and nairaland. 3 Likes |

Chomyg: Yes, It may work, but i all depends on the qulaity of your application. However, Immigration is a hot topic recently, Proposed occupation(s) to nominate and ANZSCO 6-digit code : Civil Engineering , 233211 point went up to 90 points. so you really need to put out a qulaity application plus you are married which is most helpful. So first step. Engineer Australia Assessmnet under CDR route. You will need to write 3 CDRs. and for every relevant engineering employment cited you need to rpesent the following. 1. Pension Contribution records 2. Employer references showing at least 5 main duites signed on lette rheaded letter of company. 3. Sadly pay slip is not part of the document. After your assessment , lodge your visa application. in my humbe 2 cents. Kindly start the process soonest. |

NO, you push on and submit a qualitative application. Today it is 90 points , tomorrow it may be 65 points. However have a Plan B in place; may be canada or elsewhere or school route. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skillselect/invitation-rounds |

Hello Everyone, Good day. Please I need some clarifications. I got my academic credentials assessed successfully by WES for the EE stream of Canada. I am planning to apply for Australia PR too. Is my WES credentials certificate valid there or do I have to get them done from some another agency? Kindly request for guidelines. |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by u3fine(m): 7:14am On Jul 05 |
WES assessment is for Canada and not valid for Australia. Based on your degree and occupation, the assessing body in Australia in charge of your nominated occupation will assess both the degree and the work experience. Prymuhxz: 1 Like |

tunlex01: But if we don’t wait we won’t be able to claim the 3 year work experience as I believe vet access will deduct from his cure 3 years leaving him with 2 years work experience because he will have to use Unilag since it is a tier 1 school as the Job is a Group A work too |

Before you assess with Vetasses or any other relevant body, try and simulate to get your points so as not to waste money. For most occupations, don't bother if you do not have at least 85 points... |

siina: Story story Wife first drop the idea of relocation in 2015 and I laughed it off, is it money. Then 2017 I still said no. So during the lock down, I saw the way our government treated us and she brought it up again and I bought into the idea. But was 43 then. Spent half of 2020 practicing IELTS. After 3 IELTS and 3 PTE, I missed superior by 2 points - 77. That was August 2022. 45th birthday was Oct. 2022. So I was just hopeless, 2 months to get nominated. Points stood @ 75 for 491. Then the shocker of NSW. So on September 21 wife called me on my way to work that NT opened that it may work. I just told her to leave me that 2 weeks to 45, what again. Bit 30min later something told me to at least check. And then off I go getting paper and we applied 25th. Then I got to learn NT takes 6 months to process applications. Well on the 6th of October, 2 days to my 45th, I sent a mail to NT telling them to finalise my application, that I will prefer to get a rejection than to miss out on age technicality that I may not be able to overcome the missed opportunity. On the 7th a mail came for me to clarify some things about my employment and the CO tells me to send any reply before 4pm NT. Something keeps telling me in the night to check my mail, but I said I don't want to be heartbroken. But around 4am, my son came to my room to wake me up for something, so I used that to check my mail and the request, clarified it. And then I was on my way to work when I checked my mail again, theCO messaged me again to sign declaration form for nomination and send before 5pm Darwin time if I want to be nominated. Jumped down from BRT at 7:30am looking for business center, none had opened, being running back home before I realised it will take me like an hour to get there by foot, so I hailed a bike, got home, auto sign the form sent. And them left for work. As soon as I got to the bus stop, just 5 min after, wife called that nomination approved. Just 7hours to 45th birthday. So, I got grant 8th July, 2024 Thats is my story, nothing is impossible. . 11 Likes |
