Tell me more about the diff between NC and MB
Taraba, southern Adamawa, Southern Kaduna, part of south Kebbi are part of the Nigerian Middle Belt, are they also part of the North Central?

You are very wrong!

South South was not originally Midwest. Old Midwest is just part of the today’s south south, almost less than 40%.

North Central isn’t Middle belt.
thats right, Midwest formed a part of today's south south but you are wrong about north central not being middle belt

middle belt comprises six states – Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, and Plateau - as well as Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory. They are all middle belt, being between the north and south

If you really understand what middle belt is and the map, you won’t say this.

Middle belts classification is more of geography than the politics you are thinking about

The Middle Belt (also spelt Middle-Belt) or Central Nigeria is a term used in human geography to designate a belt region stretching across central Nigeria longitudinally and forming a transition zone between Northern and Southern Nigeria. It is composed of the southern half of the defunct Northern Region of Nigeria,[3] now comprising mostly the North Central and parts of the North East and North West geopolitical zones, and is characterised by its lack of a clear majority ethnic group. It is also the location of Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory.

If you're not Yoruba and truly from South South.
Without sentiments tell me how this curious question affects you negatively or what exactly is wrong with you dragging tribe into everything?

Someone ask a simple question that won't even affect you in anyway you're dragging tribe to it.

South South was originally Mid west, for political reasons it was changed to SS, no north north, you have North central which is actually middle belt

Okay. A bill will be passed to change the name to South Central. That is after more important issues have been taken care of.

When Anioma joins SE, I think South Central or Mid-South will be a better name for us. Then, the rest of the SS can become Far South if you do not like SS grin grin
