Why will it come down before it will rally up because I have seen stocks never come down after I sold them till date.....
Pls will presco equally come down before it rallies up so I can wait
its the nature of the 4th wave corrections, it can sometimes be confusing/deceitful. In any case, if the price goes above 24.9 (uba) in this current move, then i am wrong about my assertion and we should be looking up.

Hi. Thanks. Well once in awhile one does get trapped. It's the nature of the biz.
Every stock have its own time.....patience is required.

Just needed one positive catalyst to respond...
Although, TRANSPOWER ought to move far small when it was listed if not for the activities of those Directors supplying liquidity.

When Geregu was listed, that one didn't even move past 120 if I could remember very well, it later fell and touched 99 or thereabout self, but with good news, it started shaking body small small......and the news of Afrexim Banks 5% acquisition helped its ministry to some extent then
* Don't mind my story telling. Lol.

There seems to be some players who want to maintain Oando's price within a range so they can mop up as much as possible.
If you believe in the prospects of the stocks, then do not bother about what those guys do. Just focus on your investment goals and target price.
I had wanted to buy more of Oando, but the recent price hike has affected my target units. I will wait until sometime later and buy more before they release the Q1 2024 results

I am waiting at N11 junction to offer a support or is it resistant grin.

I do enjoy your story telling. It is educative. I even forgot how GEREGU was helped forward by the Afrexim investment. I thought it was only Ote's Forbes play.

Yes. It’s been priced in. Rally like this tomorrow again, let’s see. Till you pass N16, nothing will happen

From where I stand, the completion of the Agip deal is a game changer for the company. I expect Oando to release an announcement to breakdown what this acquisition means to the company and its shareholders. That's what a good CEO would do. Sell the news while it's hot. Many may still not understand the ramifications though until they see the Q3 and Q4 results which should incorporate Agip's assets.

Oando's best asset has just been doubled while they shed the less quality assets. We can argue poor leadership is also a bane of this company. It's an empty post, lets see if Wale can manage to put the ball in the net. Recent news suggests a genuine turnaround might be in the offing.

The FG has signified interest in cranking up crude production which should augur well for E&P companies. If they can manage security and infrastructure availability properly such that it translates to increased production, there could be some good money to be made by all players. As for Oando, their financial report should look better if they can push for 100,000BOE in production this year.

My post could be misleading so please do your own DD.

Will OANDO delist or remain quoted?

I think these future projections have all been factored into the current prices. I would not advise anyone not to have those stocks in their portfolio, and I respect your investment theory on this.

To avoid too much foreign market discussion on this thread, I'll not go into how these companies overspent during and after COVID, over-hired, $40k-70k sign-on bonus, only to fire after 2-4yrs of service. It will take some years of recovery from the current inflation and economic troubles before these tech innovations can be affordable and in general use. Na everywhere dry this season including America, so when a company not producing necessities is growing in stock price,
long term might be too much optimisim.

I believe you are a TA person. From you own stand what are you expecting if it gets to 16 and close above ii going forward

Perhaps some TA traders will start dumping at that price leading to the so called resistant as panic sets in unless strong bulls blast through that resistance. A blast through is okay on the Oando journey of higher highs and higher lows. N16 will then be the new low point.

If it closes above 16, expect a continuous rally to your 20 naira level after which 16 will begin to act as the new support level for any downturns.

That's if profit takers will allow it reach 20.those that bought at bargain price @8.30 will start existin before

Oando needs exceptional news like not delisting then investors will start looking at the future prospects of the company

To me the result that will be publish will not be much different from the previous year, rather improved loss like the one IB keep bringing out. grin

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zendi: 11:56pm On Jul 04
Until the risk of Delisting is removed, Oando will remain a busy Monkey Dealing Market.
Monkey dealers will be buying and selling and re-buying and re-selling monkeys from and to each other until the bell rings, and it's time-up.
Then all dealers still with monkeys will be made to return them to the Cowboy at N7 per monkey regardless of size, weight or cost price.
Meanwhile smart and lucky dealers would have cashed out mid-market and rejoiced home with their loot.
