Spend quality time alone. Find out what makes you happy, apart from drinking. Search online to learn more about activities that people enjoy or edibles that can substitute alcohol. Once you do that, you start spending time on the activities and start eating that in place of alcohol.

Like someone advised, you won't stop it immediately. Reduce the number of bottles you take. Don't give in to peer pressure. Every man must not drink, smoke or womanise. That's the most stupid social script I have ever come across.

Plus, I often tell people that any man who lacks self-discipline lives an unexamined life. Those who succeed in life disciplined them and denied themselves a lot of pleasures with a goal in mind. 1) Get oneself engaged in things that would divert attention away from alcohol consumption.

2) Try replace that habit with a less harmful one like watching movies/series/soccer/sport, or playing video games.
