Submitted documents on 14 June Message to pick up 4 July Visa granted (one month) At the time of passport receipt, travel date was already in the past. Nonetheless, the visa was granted. Although, when I submitted it was supposed to take 10 days but it's now it takes 30 days (may be due to Olympics) 1 Like |

It must be color and you have to make photocopies. So if you submit photocopies… which one would look like the original? Trueigbo: |

Amml270:It can be refused depending on the category you are applying from. For example, there is what is called "regroupement familial" which is the main route to relocate and join a legal french resident and the demand for this kind of visa is initiated right from France. However, if it's just to visit and return back then you have to apply under tourist family visa and get attestation d'accueuil from the city mayor where the resident lives (the resident will just go thier city mayor and request for it, the mayor office may send people to verify his/her accommodation first before granting the document and this document costs about 30 euros to be bought as stamp. The requirements for these different types of visa are different and once you submit all the required documents of the category you applied and they approve them then your chances of getting the visa are good. A practical example of how they can refuse you the visa : if you want to use a smart way (tourist route) to relocate and join your family member and they figure it out from your application then surely the application will be refused. Hope you get it? Modified : if spouse is french citizen, your chances of being refused the visa are very slim provided you provide all required documents and you are not in a polygamous marriage (stated on thier website). There is special visa for French family members and you have to apply for that visa and supply the required documentations 1 Like |

Nonamexxx: No, i meant when you open the envelop and get your passport with a letter in it. Once my cousin was refused France visa and he told me he opened the envelop and did not see a visa apposed in his passport but rather an accompanying letter which happened to be a refusal letter just "ticking" the reason for the refusal. Your passport will return sealed dont worry about that. 1 Like |

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by OSHartorz: 5:31pm On Jul 06 |
Nonamexxx: The passport is enclosed in a nylon envelope. From my personal assessment, if you find any piece of paper other than the passport, it usually means no visa and the accompanying paper contains the reason for refusal. So once you feel the envelope and there's no paper but your passport. Visa granted. All the best. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Please can anyone guide me on the amount of money that needs to be provided for the statement of account from my bank account? And please how long does it take to be issued an appointment date for biometrics after filling for an application? I will be glad if someone comes to my response |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nonamexxx: 5:42pm On Jul 07 |
AKAyomide: You should probably check their website but it says €120 for each day, for the duration of your stay if you do not have an accommodation and €65 if you have an accommodation. As for your second question,it's confusing. If after filling your application on the visafrance website, you go to TLSContact to fill in the necessary information requested for you to book an appointment for submission of your visa application. On the day you submit your application, your biometrics are taken (that's how mine went). So basically, you'll see your available dates on the tlscontact website if you understood what I said. 1 Like |

Please someone help. I have 2 bank accounts, one is a salary account and the other another account that’s relatively new. Please can I print 3Months statements from my salary account that has been active for a year where I have fairly enough funds and one month from my new account where there is enough funds when combined with my salary account? Is it a safe thing to do? I also have documents to proof where the money in the new account came from. 1 Like |
