I'd blame Rochas Okorocha the ex governor for this gully. His house is just a stone throw from the gully site. Dude has all the opportunities to transform IDEATO nation, but was too greedy to use quack local contractors. People are becoming homeless. Those people whose homes were ravaged from the gully may not have the opportunity to build another house in their life time, because the price of building materials is too exorbitant. Even the only nkwo market in that area was not left out. |

Things like these make me praise God for a Governor like Pastor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom state. Once he hears "Ravine" or "Gully erosion" he'll spring into action. You need to see the work ongoing now, he's reclaiming a ravine site to turn it into a park with a lake inside . Omor, the work is superb. Can't wait to see you all in Uyo soon!!!!! |

Politics with bile in Imo state has kept the flooding going on. Politics of State capital Owerri must develop more than London, and Owerri must develop to designer's delight before any government can pay attention to any other part of Imo state; that is why the flooding is not checked. Those who say Orlu zone monopolised governance of Imo state need to think twice. |

Typing: There will be no structure for them to emerge as leaders. There are people like Rochas, Tinubu, Uzodimma, Ibikunle Amosun, Ikpeazu, Fayose, Orji Kalu, Sanwo-Olu etc in the US, UK, EU, Canada etc serving as politicians, why are they not looting? Those countries don't have structure for them to emerge so no looting and looting will make no sense to them based on the way the country is structured. There will be security.

AnyanwuSilas: One thing about Easterners is that, they always obey anyone who single handedly make himself their leader. See Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa. If I go East and declare myself their leader now, them go show me 101% loyalty. 1 Like 1 Share

It's man made, modern roofing always cause massive water runoff, when a densely populated area is without good drainage system, it always results to gully erosion, the remedy is organised drainage system or planting grass and trees to mitigate the water runoff. |

Typing: That's the lies you told yourselves in Ibadan. Region that holds the largest gas reserves in Africa? Region that's projected to be the future of industrial Nigeria? Off course if it's barren you for support their exit. But freedom will come whether you like it or not because Nigeria can Never enter into a Multipolar World with unitary system of government.
