feelgoodstuffs: No one here would say, nairaland has not benefited them one way or another, THERE IS A POOL OF INFORMATION AND CONNECTIONS HERE. As for me after Google, Nairaland is my second search engine, I used to be very active on Travel section and Technology Market.
In 2014 a friend Temitayo introduced me to Nairaland, may God bless him wherever he is now, because I don’t think I’ll be where I am today if not for this Nairaland where I got the information in the “Giving Birth in Brazil” thread in 2021, I never planned to travel to Brazil, it was this guy @keet18 that encouraged me, because he applied and was given 3 months visa.
so I reluctantly applied with the hope that I would add it to my travel history, I applied and was given one year visa probably because of my travel history.
When I got to São Paulo airport, Tope came to pick me up and show me around, he’s also a Nairalander I just met for the first time. Now we have become good friends @Tope2580 thank you bro, may God reward your kindness.
I was also added to a WhatsApp group by another Nairalander, her name is Stella, the group is only for people who buys and sell gadgets. In the group there are TLC items which is (Total Landing Cost) meaning “Pay first” then your goods will be shipped to you. and AIN (Already In Nigeria) So When I started buying items and sending to Nigeria from here, no one would want to send me money first before I send the goods because they don’t know me, only the big names there were well known, but something shocked me, a guy in the group saw the item I posted, he’s also a Nairalander, he don’t know me, and he sent me 500k for a phone I only sent him the picture and after some weeks he received the phone in Nigeria, since then we have been doing business, just last month this guy sent me 7.6 million Naira at a go for goods he only saw the pictures, “Omo people get money for Nigeria ooo they’re only looking for who to trust to do business with”. A Special Shout to Otunba for trusting me. (He said he trust me because he read the story of my journey on Nairaland) Another thing i think is we Africans easily trust people in Yankee lol.
So let’s leaf talk and go straight to business, to celebrate my 10 years anniversary on Nairaland, I am giving 20 people 10k each, you know how we do it, you must have less than 10k in your account to qualify, post a screenshot of your account balance and account details and you will be credited 10k immediately.
