Someone asked that question in one of his interviews and they said it is not certain who is going to either of the company's, that the company will decide and balance things up. So my guy, don't be so certain ok, except you are the HR yourself smiley.

EH.

Apparently, everyone is speaking from the perspective of the role they applied but these 3 categories may not follow the same process.

Everyone that will get in through this particular recruitment is going to ExxonMobil. When the sale to Seplat is finalized, then anyone unfortunate to be on the team working on the assets being sold to Seplat will follow suit. And it's most likely only the EH guys that will be affected, all GT guys will most likely be in Exxon.
Re: Exxonmobil Graduate Engineer Trainee by damilade: 12:49pm On Jul 07
Don't be so certain. EH and GT can be affected in divestment.

It was cool. You get to the center, they check your credentials, take a photo of you during the check-in procedure, and you enter a computer lab with several computers already set up.
Put in your log-in details and write the test while invigilation goes on.
It was smooth and straightforward.
Hello please were you guys allowed to go in with calculator or did dragnet provide one?

There’s an on-screen calculator to be used. Physical calculators were not permitted.

Exactly.

Exactly wrong. A lot goes into hiring a new staff. Registration, health provider, pension plan, etc. Exxon will not go through all those processes, just to transfer the staff to Seplat. Seplat is doing their own recruitment now, and any staff not already transferred will probably be hired directly by them.

Any staff hired by Exxon this year will most likely work FOR EXXON.

You sound certain and reliably informed, so I guess that's good to know. But it won't be the first time an IOC recruits someone only to let go of the person a few months later. This is not me saying the same will apply here but to say it isn't out of the ordinary.

Having said that, in my interview, I also asked how the divestment would affect those to be recruited from this process. The response I got was that no one is certain of their place (both the old and the new recruits) and that everything will be assessed eventually when it is time. I took that response as them not wanting to give anything away to someone who is still an outsider interviewing and that's quite understandable, but I've got to say it wasn't reassuring. But your analogy is reasonable in the sense that Exxon may be anticipating that a good number of their current staff may wish to move over to Seplat.

Guys please is calculator allowed in dragnet assessment test?

Please for those that have done medical for EH, GT and graduate interns. When do you think their offer letters would be sent??

Urgent please

That implies you've done the aptitude test already.
I'm surprised I was shortlisted for aptitude test for an EH instead of a straight interview.
Please any heads up on what to expect

The interview wasn't up to an hour in reality but it was scheduled for one hour. I think I spent like 30-35 minutes

This is why I said earlier that no one should be so confident that they know the process and the status. There are lots of things involved in this particular recruitment exercise that even those currently in the system don't really know how it will pan out.

Graduate intern or graduate engineer? Also, when did you apply?
Re: Exxonmobil Graduate Engineer Trainee by Wisemann101: 1:37pm On Jul 16
Graduate engineer. I applied and wrote test the same time with everyone.
Early last week, I got a mail encouraging me to apply for graduate intern but I ignored it. Two days later, invite for GE interview came in.

For those who did first level interview, were you interviewed by engineers?
