This guy is the most Jinxed football acct on Twitter/X.

What a cracker. He nailed every quarter final prediction BACKWARDS!!! Jinxed every single game.

He is cursed. Nothing anyone fit tell me. I have witnessed this times without number to know he is truly cursed.

And did he just tip France and England to go through? If that is a yes to both then we can expect the opposite.

It is strange. Let me just say it is kinda spiritual. grin grin
Looking at the post again, I think he is tipping Spain and Netherlands to go through. Anyway, we will know his stance by tomorrow.

There was a guy on Facebook that used his QF prediction to stake. Everything was 30odds. I don't know how much he staked sha.

Football has fallen so much so that National Team football has become the only hope to see spirit, culture and beauty.

Even NT football is fast getting corrupted

As time goes on football will even loose its popularity. No one will watch football again. Modern football is too defensive.
It ronaldinho, messi, Pele etc that made people's like football and once the game looses its beauty people will turn thir back on it

I saw a YouTube clip few months ago of a kid not up to 15 years old saying that he enjoys watching old football games that were played when he wasn’t born than the one of this era

That the football of the era is way too boring

When you compare football to other area of advancement in life,
Football has really fallen
Forget whatever Mr. TheGoodjoe has to say about his intensity and tactical evolution theory.

If football has so advanced tactically,
what stops it from advancing technically?

Boss, you have said it all. Immediately Mbappe scored his second goal, I switched off my phone, poured water on my head and casually strolled out. I could not watch the remaining minutes. It was too tensive. I thank God Messi won that trophy. It was special!
You mentioned Mbape and Messi, perhaps the two guys made that final more exciting than the other matches of the tournament.
Is it a surprise they are among the very few who still plays the game the way it use to be.

On the contrary,

There will still come a time when football will be more enjoyable than this era.
Nothing last or remain the same forever.
Tikitaka or whatever that is being played now will come and go.

They will still come a generation with well refined skills and flair,or whatever it would evolve to be in the modern times,
that would dominate the game and make it more enjoyable.

It's just a matter of time.
All it takes is for one coach to succeed with group of talented players with advanced skills,

Maybe he has become more robotic for one reason or another, maybe he has lost form or following instructions,I don't know.

But he has the talent of the old, that's what I was just trying to convey.

Funny this is coming from Bielsa. One of those who perfected the art of defending with a hard press.

I said technical players is not what is causing less flair in football but how good defending is today.

Bielsa is one of those that caused it. Slacken how tight defending is and you will see flair in the game return.

When Bielsa was making it tighter for players to excel with flair, was he expecting players to play into his plan.

The intensity and defending knowledge is the reason why we don't see flair. Not because of the death of flair.

Example of how tight Bielsa's team can press.

Defending from who? Flair from who?

Modric, Ronaldo and Messi have won the Ballon in the last 20 years. Players in their 30s!

Where are those 20 something players with flair and good defending?

It has NOTHING to do with tight defending. It has everything to do with coaches being a slave to the science of football.

Nothing in this Euros has proved high defensive acumen rather it has exposed the low quality of football sense.

A nice comment that captures Bielsa. Relentless pressing. I wonder why he is making such a statement when he coached his teams to stop great players from excelling in individual play.

Someone that captures it precisely as it is. Players are now faster and defend better. So, little space for creativity.
