Please, house can anybody provide good information? Do I need to write my cover letter or introduction letter on my company letterhead and then scan it to upload like other documents, or is there a place on the IRCC portal where I can write it? |

Bros, you are already sounding desperate. Do you think visa officers are novice? Even if your financial situation changes you need time to be able to explain to the visa officers that you were able to fix the financial issues it's not by rushing to apply. VO now requires home assets and N20m to N25m PoF that can be justified with your earnings especially for those without travel experience. Hence the high refusal rate. Ndubestjude: |

Hello my beloved people, Please I want to ask the following questions. In applying for visit visa, 1. Will I need to submit my PCC with the application or it would be requested latter? 2. I could get my asset that was willed to me converted to my name, is it compulsory to add asset even If the sponsor offers to support my stay? And would I need to include my flight money in the proof of fund?? I congratulate you orjohn24: |

Ndubestjude:you will still be denied. Finance is not about one time lump sums. So you sold your land and want to travel. You are telling the visa officer indirectly- i have no plans of coming back home. 4 Likes |

Royals1st:the company belongs to you so the letter carries little or no weight. Just submit evidence of company ownership, services provided and inflows. |

Ndubestjude: Applying for a tourist visa and selling your property to finance a tourist trip indicate to the visa officer that you are not financially buoyant enough for the trip. A person can sell their property to finance education abroad and return home because it adds value to their career, but a tourist visa is purely for fun and pleasure! 2 Likes |

January and February applicants let the good news continue rolling in... Many people have gotten decision, but they're not ready to share the news, even those that got positive decision. But why? Few of them will only come here to ask of how to go about passport submission. it's unfair! Kindly share as for others to learn. I come in peace! 2 Likes |

After which, you will have to scan and upload the same document on the IRCC platform. |

Ndubestjude: Take it easy Bro. You sound really desperate. Give it time. Grow your account the right way and reapply, you’d see you’ll get the visa. Taking loan from the bank would never seem right. If I were the one reviewing your document, I would easily spot that you’re desperate to “Japa”. Do not take loan from the bank, the interest for that kind of arrangement is already above 7% as we speak. First off, I’ll advice that you request for your gcms notes to know the exact documents your agent used in applying for you. This one you’re saying you don’t know the exact amount that was used as your POF in your previous applications. 3 Likes |

mobenjackson:Looks like I just found myself in the same situation as you. Was this application related to your spouse? Was the 2023 TRV a rejection because you guys were not married at that time? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by benjijosh(m): 8:16pm On Jul 08 |
I got my gcms note on my refusal. ===== I have considered the following factors in my decision. After a review of the proof of funds provided, I note that limited explanation on the source of these funds were included. With this, I have concerns with the applicant's ability to support the stated purpose of travel for themselves or to show that they are financially established in their country of residence. Upon reviewing the documents and information provided with this application, I am not satisfied that the purpose of their intended stay is justified or that their visit to Canada is temporary. Weighing the factors in this application. I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. For the reasons above, I have refused this application. ===== I did submit my employment letter and it can be seen clearly that all the credits in the account were from my employer. I wonder why they couldn’t just figure that part out. And yes, I had more that enough in the account. Is it possible to appeal this decision? If I were to submit a new application, do you suggest I still submit a printed statement account from GTBank or I should request GT to send it to the embassy? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 8:38pm On Jul 08 |
benjijosh: The visa official likely doubted the source of your funds because, for example, earning 250,000 naira monthly while showing 30 million in your account without a proper explanation can raise significant concerns. It's not solely about the substantial closing balance; other factors such as clear documentation of the source of your funds are crucial considerations in their visa decision-making process. Under Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, there is no formal right of appeal for temporary resident decisions. to ircc Instead, you have the option to reapply or seek judicial review at the Federal Court of Canada and you need hire a Canadian lawyer to handle this process, as it can be costly (approximately 3500 CAD or more ) and time-consuming (4 months to 1 year ). Personally, considering the uncertainty of success in court, it may not be a prudent decision to pursue an appeal through this route as reapplying still remain the best option. 1 Like |

House34: What I attached was my current domiciliary bank account. I earn in USD and I had over xxk when I applied. I did attach my offer of employment also but I guess that was not enough. Thank you for the reply. Wdyt about attaching a printed statement of account or request from my bank |

Congratulations on your approval. Did applicant already receive AOR and Biometrics request for the spousal sponsorship application before applying for TRV? @Azalea97 Thank you. As at the time I submitted the TRV, spousal was been submitted just 3 weeks prior, but no receipt of AoR nor SA approval. When I received both documents (AoR & SA approval) and even got medicals done, i sent lotta webforms but never got an acknowledgement if it was received or even added to my file. |

Looks like I just found myself in the same situation as you. Was this application related to your spouse? Was the 2023 TRV a rejection because you guys were not married at that time? @NuCypher Hi, sure. TRV is for my spouse. Yes, it was rejected cus we were never married even tho refusal letter stated it was cus of financial blablabla...lol I guess being married and having an evidence (legal proof) to show for it really turn things around this time...lol |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by NuCypher: 10:22pm On Jul 08 |
mobenjackson:I figured the same lol. I'm at your 2023 stage right now, sadly. They said "financial blablabla" too. Guess marriage has to happen to make them believe things. I wouldn't mind learning a thing or two from you on this subject, as you appear to be my senior colleague now |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by House34: 12:44am On Jul 09 |
benjijosh: it not about your bank statement alone but You need a proper explanation and more documentation of how you have over $100,000 USD in savings . You need a breakdown of your earnings and proof of source of these funds. If your salary is the only source of this $100,000, then you need to include your pay slips, tax slip explain how you source your money and convert it to USD, provide property documents, and detail your monthly expenses and savings. When you reapply, the next visa officer will review the previous officer's notes. 1 Like |

Goodmorning guys.. I applied for PR under family sponsorship last year December gave my biometric in February , got AOR same month .. Around march we got a mail that my husband has passed eligibility to sponsor me and that my application would be forwarded to Accra After then ..there has been no mail from ircc ..my husband decided to contact the house of rep in Canada to call ircc and they did and told me ircc said we have passed criminality and we should have more patience .... So last week and my husband called them again and they said they have moved my application to Accra ... Please I don't know what this means cause I heard that once ur application is moved to Accra ..that means it's passport submission next but I haven't done my medicals yet .. can someone explain to me |

Hello guys, response to this came back today and it was unsuccessful, I have attached the response below, I'll give it a break until whenever I have travel history to any other countries then maybe I'll try again, as at the time I sent this application the amount in my statements when converted was 21,000 Canadian dollars, so I may not buy the generic response on insufficient finances, but I'll just have to believe the counselor officer wasn't convinced I was gonna return and leave it that way till any other time I deem it necessary to apply, will keep observing in the forum to learn what I can improve on and see how I can put up a more solid application next time. emmanuelle27: 1 Like

emmanuelle27:Sorry to hear about your denial. Your profile actually looks very solid, but it looks like denials are on the increase now. The sad truth is that a lot of Nigerians who have gone before you have destroyed the trust the visa officers once had. I'm fairly sure some people with the exact same profile as yours (if not better) also failed to return after receiving their visitor visas. |

IfeomaChris: Hi Hi...the wait ahead is not as much as the wait already done. That been said, since it has been stated in your Sponsor approval letter it was forwarded to Accra, all you gotta do is wait, Accra will work on your file when they are ready o. go and do your medicals even tho they haven't requested for it (be proactive pls) and send webform/mail everyday until they acknowledge it has been updated to your file (trust me, i did mine for 3 straight weeks without missing a day, on the 1st day of the 4th week i got a reply it was updated - showed in tracker and gckey), your own eligibility as PA hasn't started - this i am 1000000% sure of, so get medicals outta they way, so we know its left with security and eligibility. trust me, eligibility only take them approx. 11mins, so it can be completed within an hour (in a flash you will see your tracker go from not started-NS to completed). sorry to be the bearer of this news but PPR is not in sight yet, say anything from September sha (we dey same boat - Jan 2024 submission here...lol) 1 Like |
