Cheer up. You can still get your application approved. Unless your tuition fee is 15K per year, 30K is insufficient for 4 semesters. Also, the 22M in your account covers one year of living expenses. So, how do you intend to pay for the subsequent year? So, the funds are insufficient for a self-sponsor going for a 2-year program. If you are sponsoring yourself, you must have the tuition fees and living expenses for the duration of your program unless you can demonstrate a reliable source of income while in Canada. On the other hand, if you are using a sponsor, you can show just the cost of education for one year, regardless of the duration of your studies.

I appreciate your response. So like how much should my POF should be, knowing that I have a study loan of 30k dollers and the program is 20months. I will appreciate your inputs.

IS IT NORMAL TO GET SECOND MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BY IRCC?

Hello everyone,
My brother did an upfront medicals two weeks ago at IOM for his study permit application. Just today he got a mail that IRCC returned his medical result and that a second assessment is needed. This is quite uncommon…
We sent mail to IOM, and after few hours they replied with the attached message ( that a syphilis test needs to be repeated)
He is just scared

Anyone had such issue before?

Your brother or it is you LOL?

You have to calculate tuition fees, living expenses and the cost of flight.
POF = tuition fee + living expenses (20 635 CAD) + flight cost.

If the student is going for Masters or PhD and some professional courses, they can come with their families, and their spouses can work. On the other hand, if the student is not doing the aforementioned courses, then their spouses can only visit and not work.

My advice to all prospective students. Except you are from elite home or have scholarship. Do not waste huge funds to migrate into Canada for study. Focus on other destination like Germany, France or Austria. Learning a second language is awesome. I write this based on current task needed by Canadian govt. Build your profile from other western countries and migrate with your wealth of knowledge to your choice destination.

I resume on 4th September too. Did my biometric & upfront medical this week. Fortunately, my biometrics was uploaded yesterday. What school did you apply to?
I also experienced the same. I did biometric on 10th June and it was updated on 5th July. But when it got updated on my portal, it showed 10th June …so here’s my question?
Do I start counting from 10th June or 5th July?… I mean do I assume that they’ve received it since 10th June and started processing it or they started processing it when it reflected on the portal?

There is not really a template per se, you need to first of all know the actual reasons why you were refused from your GCMS notes, then raise/state your responses on the LOE when you are reapplying. Your responses will be answering the issues as documented by the VOs. Ensure to have documentary proofs of whatever you are claiming.

For the re-application process do I need to get a SOP and LOE or just the LOE? And for the initial statement of purpose was I required to add a financial section

You will need LOE and SOP, the LOE addresses your refusal reasons while the SOP states your intention and reasons for applying to study in Canada.

All SOPs should have a Proof of funds/Financial section
