A Federal lawmaker representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency in Zamfara state, Abdul Malik Zubairu, has married off 105 orphans whose parents were killed by bandits.

The grand occasion which took place on Saturday in Bungudu town, the headquarters of Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State was attended by prominent personalities both within and outside the state.

Both the brides and the bride grooms were gorgeously dressed during the event which attracted the attention of thousands of people who graced the occasion.

The married couples were provided with beds and bedding materials by the lawmaker, in addition to N10.5 million paid as dowry for 105 brides.

Zubairu also provided the sum of N100,000 for each of the 105 bride grooms and N50,000 to each of the 105 grooms to enable them start business of their choices.

We're gradually knowing why bandits attack people in the north. Since these fellas want to marry hundreds of wives on earth and still marry 52 virgins in paradise but that of the earth won't come easy, they just simply device a means to render people helpless such that they'll have no option than to marry them.

Northern lawmakers whose constituents are plagued with banditry needs to be investigated. It's time Nigeria creates a CIA kind of secret service dedicated to investigating this kind of situation.

You see why he married them off? So they can go procreate and multiply for upcoming elections. They need the numbers.

Girls that need government support to pick their life up after their parents were killed are now married off to poverty, disease and house flies. How then do they want to build their society?

Core Northerners are the biggest beneficiaries of this unending fight between SW and SE. The Igbos concentrate more on insulting the Yorubas and begging the Northerners for favour to demystify the Yorubas while the Yorubas are more reserved, calculative and strategic, but never miss a chance to give back the insults in equal measure.

Why not sponsor them to learn profitable skill and trade like; weaving, hair making, tailoring, baking, cooking, interior decoration, computer operation (desktop publishing, etc), computer networking, fishery, plumbing, carpentry, community healthcare service, etc that will make them more productive, financially independent and less burden to the society with time?


Honestly Northern leaders need to be educated cry
